Today I called to make an appointment because I have an issue that has persisted for a few days. The first call with the receptionist led to the receptionist telling me she would have the nurse call me back. I get a phone call back and it was the receptionist again informing me that I can be seen by another doctor since my doctor was out today, for an appointment today, but I informed her that I cannot go to the doctor today, but I can go Monday. She then told me someone would call me back. I received a phone call again from the same receptionist, which I do not understand why she was relaying the nurse's message to me when she told me the nurse would speak to me directly by calling me back twice already, and she said that the nurse told me to go to urgent care. I told her I able to make an appointment Monday or anytime this coming week or whichever day was closest in availability. She said to me, "So you are declining to go to urgent care." I was really confused by how she framed that, and stated to her that my doctor is familiar with the rare condition I have had for several years, and it would be better to make an appointment with him than go to urgent care that doesn't know my medical history and may give me the wrong medication. The receptionist told me that someone would call me back after documenting what I was telling her about my condition and wanting an appointment instead of going to urgent care to relay back to the nurse, and I have not received a call back, but somehow my mother calling on my behalf a little while ago led to me getting an appointment this week. I am not sure why I was given a hard time by the morning receptionist and nurse and not respected or listened to, but someone speaking for me was able to get me an appointment, who also told who she was speaking to that my doctor knows my medical history and would assist me better than urgent care.

First The receptionist copped an attitude when I had to reschedule my appt. I’m sorry that Dr Zhangs schedule is more important than his patients care. (Yes that was sarcasm).
Second my appt was so rushed with a sense of utter urgency that they were so quick to schedule imaging and procedures rather then ACTUALLY listening to symptoms and my history.
Had to repeat myself countless times and Dr Zhang still didn’t understand what I was saying. I left with almost near tears and more anxiety then had before going in there. Can someone look into this practice?

Welcome to 2024!

Let me set the table: My almost 14-year son ran out of his ADHD medication on Thursday night; my wife and I meant to call in his re-fill, but the week got away from us. That's on us. Being that he's a teenager, he didn't bring it up until Saturday night, and it was evident at that point that he was really struggling - it was clear he was suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

I called today, Sunday, and spoke with the on-call service. Andrew was quite helpful and at least acted like he cared. However, I cannot say the same for the on-call doctor, Jen. After connecting with her, she told me that because we are dealing with a controlled substance, she couldn't do anything and to call back on Monday. Um, what? You are in the health "care" industry, which we all know is the health business, but try to pretend it's not that. Why am I treated like I'm bringing in my car to Pep Boys? I should have been stunned by her lack of professional etiquette, and more so for her lack of care as a doctor, but again, welcome to 2024. If one of my employees operated like this, I would have been appalled and embarrassed beyond belief. However, I would have taken it upon myself to do what was right.

Jen, how about this: "Ok, I will call this medication in first thing in the morning, as that as all I can do on that front due to policies drawn up by those that know best. Whether it makes sense or not, that's all I can do there. Also, how is your son feeling right now? Here is what you can do...".

Nope. She couldn't get off the phone fast enough, with her snotty "I don't want to work" mentality. I understand that you want to be paid as the on call doctor, but you need to work to get paid. Alliance Medical Group is clearly a business and a money making machine - nothing more, nothing less. We need a few less Jens in this world, and a few more that actually care and are willing to put the time in. My son is miserable, and the company does not care enough to help. Sad times.

UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. MY DAUGHTER HAD AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY LEFT HER WAITING FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES. PATIENTS WHO ARRIVED AFTER HER WERE SEEN BEFORE. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE FACT THAT DR. SAM IS A GREAT PROVIDER, I WOULD NOT HAVE RETURNED TO THAT FACILITY. I GIVE A 0 TO CUSTOMER SERVICE and 0 TO NURSES AND MEDICAL ASSISTANTS. WE LEFT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING SEEN BY ANYONE AND NOT EVEN AN ALTERNATIVE BEING PROVIDED. IT IS A SHAME FOR DR. SAM THAT HE IS SURROUNDED BY THAT TYPE OF EMPLOYEES.

Walked in to find a new Primary Care. Was told I need to call to fill out information, which doesn't make sense to me because I am standing in the office.

So I had my children's Nana take them to the doctors for their physicals today and was less then satisfied with the customer service. My Dr nurse was not the most inviting with her words. She made me feel patronized and very low. I have never been so frustrated.

Worst doctors office ever for kids. Can never ever send in the right prescription even when calling for over a week giving them exact details of what to call in and still can’t do it! WORST DOCTOR OFFICE EVER FOR KIDS DO NOT GO!

I have been a patient here for 20 years. I like my Dr, but the practice has gotten to big to handle the patients. My calls are not answered. Dr's office can't get through. Lab slips are not reaching their destination. I spoke to the office manager. What I took away from the conversation is that if I stay as a patient, these trouble will continue. He said there is nothing he could do about it. I said if there is to many patients, I could go somewhere else. He said I need to do what's best for me. There was no effort to keep me as a patient after 20 years. I was loyal to them, but I feel that I mean very little to them. When I started with this office, I felt valued. Now I feel like just another number.
