Albany Braces - Delmar, New York

It was our first time visiting the Delmar location for an appointment and we didn’t know anyone working there. However the moment we walked in we were welcomed politely by the women walking at the front desk. Then when I went inside to start my apportionment I was checked in very quickly and was attended to quickly as well. The lady that was helping me out today was Andrea and without a doubt one of the nicest people I’ve had working on my teeth. She was kind from start to end. I felt like we were best friends by the end of the appointment. She was very quick and efficient and accommodating to any of my request. If I needed a break she would let me take one and explained everything to me perfect so I knew exactly what was going on and what to do. For getting my braces off I would think my teeth and mouth would be sore and swollen. But to my surprise Andrea helped that not happen my teeth felt really good after the appointment. I’m also glad they were able to get my braces removed on such short notice. So it’s safe to say the Doctor and Andrea and the entire Delmar office did an outstanding job and are an excellent team of people. Highly recommend office.

I had a great experience today as a new patient. Missy gave me the warmest welcome and I appreciated how she had my best interest in mind. Taylor was really personable and an absolute pro at taking my X-rays, photos, and scan. Dr J DeMeo was professional, kind, and I liked the way he explained everything to me and educated me using my own scan and X-rays (the technology is really cool) . I can tell I’ll be well taken care of with this amazing team!

Good Vibes

Tried gaslighting me on pricing. I was told at the appointment $6800 and change-- was given payment details, all info.. Called back the following week to ask a question and was told the pricing was $8500?! I obviously asked why the price difference and why it was all of the sudden close to $2k more.. I expected a "let me check into this" but she acted like it was this price all along. Very odd. Poor customer service. It's unfortunate they did this. They didn't only lose a customer, but a customer with 5 kids who is looking for a trusted place.

Apparently when you call to ask a question, it costs $1700.

Also, I spoke to my primary dentist about what they wanted to do with my case, and he questioned AB's approach to an issue I was having and he said that it was a red flag.

Another dentist office that wants your money at all costs. Beware.

My search continues.

I absolutely recommend this place !!! My wife and son both have gotten braces here and they’ve done a fantastic job. During the whole process they were very thorough and helpful with assisting in our decisions. Making the choice and deciding the pros and cons of the different kinds of braces that are available can be stressful, But we didn’t get that feeling at all here they explained all options and the pros and cons of both. It helped us make our decision easier to pick the best kind for our specific needs/wants.The staff is helpful, polite and we’ve never had a bad experience here.
