Dr Zern is an amazing surgeon. He spent time to explain everything to me prior to my surgery. He came to my room multiple times during my hospital stay. He contacted me at home to "check-in" after I was released. He is very personable and I am really glad he was working the day I needed surgery. I highly recommend Dr Zern.

If you are looking for a General Surgeon or Hernia Repair Surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Jeffry Zern!

I had surgery to repair 5 abdominal hernia's. From the first visit, until today at my final post op visit he was right on point with recovery and healing time! The office staff were the best I have ever dealt with. My disability documents were filled out and faxed without me ever having to call the office.
Dr.Zern also has a wonderful bedside manner! He took the time to call me after hours one evening to go over how I was feeling and documents that needed to be filled out.
I had a wonderful experience with Wilmington Hospital and the 4th floor staff during my stay. I felt safe going to the hospital for my visits each time and the office is in a very convenient location.

I can't stress how important it is to write reviews about how your experience was weather good or bad. In searching through the few Surgeons, I read the bios, education, experience, and reviews to help me come to my decision on my Surgeon of choice.

I will be sad not to interact with Dr. Zern, his assistant Andrea, and staff, but will definitely know who to call if I am in need of Surgery again.

Lastly, I thank you Dr. Jeffry Zern and Staff for the phenomenal care you have given me in the last 6 weeks. You took the perfect 10 rating to 11. Great Job!!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Zern. He’s an outstanding General Surgeon and everyone who I mentioned his name to (friends, family, nurses and staff at the hospital) said the same. He is so well respected and not only is he excellent at what he does, his bedside manors are second to none. He just did my gallbladder surgery and if there is ever a time I would need a general surgeon again, there is, without question, no one else I would go to. Best.doctor.ever.
