Dr. Quarterman performed my husband‘s complete mastectomy because of breast cancer. Dr. Quarterman is one of the kindest most competent and compassionate doctors I have worked with. Not only that but her office staff is second to none. They never made me feel like I was in an inconvenience when I called with the myriad of questions I had. We couldn’t have had a better experience and outcome. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone facing a similar life changing challenge. Barb K.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Quarterman. She is warm, compassionate and super cool! She held my hand as I fell asleep under anesthesia and is truly an amazing and knowledgeable surgeon! Plus, she gives great hugs! I know I am in the best hands under her care.

I can't find the words to express how wonderful Dr. Quarterman is! She is extremely gifted and has been a tremendous blessing to me throughout my experience. Her thoughtful bedside manner, empathy, compassion, professional knowledge, and great skill exceed every other surgeon I have worked with. She listened intently and made sure I felt seen and heard---something I have found most doctors are lacking, unfortunately. Dr. Quarterman is a rare find as she treats the whole person. She understands how physical problems can affect a person mentally and emotionally. Nobody wants to hear bad news and find out they need surgery, but Dr. Quarterman definitely makes the experience the best it can be. Generally, I don't trust doctors, so when I say I trust Dr. Quarterman, it is saying A LOT! She has been a tremendous blessing to me during my experience as well as afterwards, helping me with referrals for other medical issues outside of her area of expertise. She genuinely cares, and that funnels through to the warm, caring office staff. I give Dr. Quarterman (Delaware Breast Care) my highest recommendation.

I just had surgery done by Dr. Quarterman. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. I live in PA, about 2 hours and 15 minutes away. My daughter lives in DE, so I decided to go to Dr. Quarterman for a second opinion. I found her and her staff so likeable, I decided to have the surgery in DE. Before and after the surgery, I knew I had made the right choice. She addressed all my concerns made me feel very comfortable and I had confidence she was very knowledgeable. All my concerns were always quickly addressed. If I had to do it over again,I would choose her again. I highly recommend Dr. Quarterman!!!!!

In addition to being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Quarterman is reassuring and patiently answers all my questions. Her staff is very thoughtful and her office is a delight with helpful information readily available. How fortunate I am to have had Dr. Renee Quarterman for breast cancer surgery and for overseeing my treatment!
