Have zero idea where to begin. I took a year of meeting surgeons for my top surgery surgeon . I’m 19 years old and was only 18 at the start of my search. I had many consultations and tried to get a feel for each one. Some aside from Sassani were Dr. Garamoni and Dr Sidhb Gallager in the state of Florida. I am located in Orlando so the drive to each stood about 4 hours and on. Dr Sassani’s office stood apart from the rest on more topics than I can count. He was the only surgeon that vocalized the importance on getting the insurance to cover it and pushing back with them. Furthermore, he was the only surgeon to ask and listen about my desired scar placement and vague result ideas. And Lastly, he not only was super attentive and hospitable- but his whole team was. His coordinator Ms.Stacy is an absolute saint and she always makes calls and visits so light hearted by always smiling and giving good energy. As well as Nurse Kim who made all my surgery fears disappear by holding my hand during the IV and joking around with me. She was a huge part of my successful surgery day alongside Sassani emotions wise. The office is such a tight knit feel and everyone makes the process feel like a well-oiled machine. I could never feel anything other than extreme gratitude for Dr Sassani and his office and will forever cherish the experience they gave me. If you want good results and to feel like more than just another patient on the office schedule- there’s no other place.

The staff is amazing! They are kind, considerate, helpful, and are extremely comforting. Stacey, Rachel, Karen, and Polly treat you like family, not as a patient. I had top surgery with Dr Sassani a little over a month ago. My experience with him as well as his team was awesome! I had my consult and was able to pick a surgery date that worked for my schedule as a college student. I don't live in this area, so the team recommended local restaurants and hotels which was helpful. They were very clear with instructions before surgery and always answered any questions I had. The surgery center was clean and felt very private, which was nice. His team is so kind and caring (especially Kim and Stacey) and made me feel supported and in good care. I had no complications and I'm loving my results. Dr Sassani also took the time to look at reference images with me so we could discuss my goals and I'm very happy with said results!! He was awesome and fully explained everything before surgery, as well as after and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Take Shape PS to anyone looking to get gender affirming surgery, or any other surgery. Thank you! 🙂
