Arrived for 3:30 appointment only to fins out they were closed. Doors locked, lights off. Called and got their voicemail. Hope everyone there is okay. Suppose I should find another doctor that cancels appointments appropriately.

Update: After many many calls and a few pushbacks, they finally settled with me for a lower amount. Higher than I would have paid with my in-network insurance but not by too much. I just wanted this ordeal to be over. I still have to start from scratch with a new doctor. I'm glad we were able to come to a solution though.

Original Review: I was referred to this office by my family doctor. I called ahead to specifically check to see if they were in network with my insurance. They told me they were. I went to the appointment. It was ok. I went and got xrays as requested but as I was calling to make my followup appointment I got a bill for $168.83. Come to find out, they are not in network with my insurance. After a few calls to inform them of what was happening, they are only taking 20% off my bill which pretty much brings it to their regular patient cash price with no insurance. I feel duped. Thats like going to a spa and them telling you your massage is $100 and when you come out its actually $400 and since you already did the service, you are on the hook for it. I am calling one last time to see if they have a better solution.

Although they can be a bit hard to get in touch with, Dr. Weed is by far the finest podiatrist I've seen in my many decades of dealing with medical professionals. He is very competent, doesn't recommend surgery unless there are no other options, and is also certified in wound care, something often needed on the lower extremities. He is simply the only DPM that I would go to in the entire NE Florida area.

Dr. Weed is the finest foot doctor in all Northeast Florida. I'm have type II diabetes and if it wasn't for Dr. Weed I wouldn't have the toes on my left foot. I recommend him to everybody that I see with feet problems. It's been a blessing to have Dr. Weed as my foot doctor.

I saw Dr. Weed for a stress fracture in my foot. He and his staff were wonderful. My Dad also goes to him for his diabetic foot care. I am a nurse and highly recommend Dr. Weed for both emergencies and routine care.

So I’m not sure how my name or review got up here. I must of been hacked. I’ve never been to this Dr. I have no complaints about them whatsoever. I tried deleting post but it would not allow me. I’m sorry that this is here under my name. Again I’ve never been here, nor have I had a reason to. So I have zero complaints with this establishment.

I love this doctor and his staff. I had tremendous pain in my feet and he worked with me to get out of pain. Finally a doctor who cared !!!

Left a voicemail to be called back and to set up an appointment as a new patient. No one ever called and it’s been weeks. Luckily my issue resolved itself.
