After shoulder surgery, for rotator cuff repair, I was referred to physical therapy. Upon discovering that a Back In Motion physical therapist was available in my community, I called their office to begin scheduling. Tiffany, in scheduling, assured me that I could begin therapy within a few days. I met the therapist, Dr. Aspen Hixon, whom I found to be very professional and friendly. Dr. Hixon followed my surgeon's protocol, working with me twice a week to return my range of motion and strength. I also met with Dr. Scott Gray a couple of times when he checked on my progress. I am very pleased with the results provided by Dr. Hixon, as well as the kind, personal interactions with Dr. Gray and Tiffany. I returned to Florida after being in physical therapy all summer up north for back pain and was unable to play golf. Upon returning to Florida I started playing golf again and the back pain returned. Dr. Sharon is a miracle worker! I ended up with nerve damage after a partial knee replacement and was very slow to recover. Dr. Sharon kept me motivated even though I was not seeing immediate improvement. I kept at it and she has helped me build back my quad strength and range of motion. She noticed I also had some back issues and the orthopedic inserts she recommended for me are really alleviating my back pain and helping me with my gait. I also tried dry needling and that also helped relieve pain and helped with my range of motion. My surgeon said it could take up to a year for my nerves to regenerate and I plan on continuing to see Dr. Sharon until I reach my goal of walking without a limp and being able to resume an active lifestyle. Dr. Sharon was able to adapt exercises so that I could feel that I was improving and her vast experience in the field was obvious. I strongly recommend Dr. Sharon for both flexibility and pain treatment as well as post operative care. She is the best!

Dr Sharon was diligent in dealing with my back and neck issues. She increased my mobility tremendously and the home exercises she gave me did wonders for my golf game and general health. Dr. Sharon is a fantastic Physical Therapist. I have had over a half dozen treatments with Dr. Sharon at her Verandah office. Her exceptional skills and knowledge about the human body was evident during my first visit/consultation with her. I have had two back surgeries between 2012 and 2018. I have 2 bad discs in my neck. I experience pain and muscle tightness after moderate exercise and physical activities such as golf and pickle ball. Her office was able to diagnose through the use of ultra sound an impingement in my left shoulder causing extreme pain. Dr. Sharon's hands on techniques and therapy regimen have greatly reduced the amount of pain in both my back, neck and shoulder. Based on the many Physical Therapy sessions I have had over the past 25 years Dr. Sharon's therapy treatments are by far the BEST!

I suffered a stroke in early October 2021. The stroke mostly resulted in numbness and loss of sensory perception on my left side. However, Dr. Sharon pointed out that it also involved some loss of some motor skills along with a weakened sense of balance.

Dr. Sharon has been working with me not only in strengthening my left side but also increasing my sense of balance which has definitely improved over the last several weeks. My golf game has also improved as a result of the therapy.

Dr. Sharon’s diagnostic and evaluation skills are exceptional along with her ability to arrive at a treatment plan that has reduced some of the damage from my stroke. I highly recommend Dr. Sharon and am thankful for the physical therapy which she has provided.
