Scheduled appointment for routine cleaning. Ended up there for 2 hours taking x-rays and waiting for someone to come and evaluate my teeth. I asked then cleaning? Yes but first we need to have a treatment plan, I was told. By the time the dentist looked at my teeth and told me there was issues with my gums and teeth that wasn't accurate. I asked him when do I get a cleaning, that's why I scheduled my appointment? He said first I had to go over his treatment plan with the office worker and agree to the treatment plan. I told the dentist and the office worker I did not come in for treatment plan, I came in for cleaning and I'll be going back to my original dentist. I feel my appointment was a scam so they could make money off me by creating problems where there are none.

It’s been quite some time since I have been to the dentist. I have major anxiety and finally decided I needed to go. I am so glad I did. They are so understanding and explain everything so well. Made me feel so comfortable and eased my anxiety’s. Dr.Montero was wonderful and made me feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am excited to begin my journey with them.

When I was done, the lady at the front desk stated, they do not have the 550c plan in their records and she will personally look up the plan benefits on Tuesday because she would be out of office Monday.
Realizing this a very busy company I waited for a call, and waited and waited. I entered the Okeechobee Aspen dental office on Tuesday, one week later. I told them I am still waiting for a call to schedule to look the treatment plan they had produced.
The lady at the front desk told me. Aspen does not have anything information yet and they would call me no later than tomorrow afternoon.
While heading home, not two minutes later, the office manager at the Okeechobee Aspen office called to inform me that the only 550C plan they accept is in the state of Texas and Texas only. Aspen dental does not accept the 550C plan in Florida.
If it took 2 minutes to verify or deny my Humana plan, why, why, why did no one contact me (for a week). In the mean time I still have sensitive tooth and am losing my crown margins. Thanks for the total lack of communication, frustration and wasting of my time. I could not leave 0 stars.

Great experience, I’ve heard good and not so good back feed on aspen not just in Okeechobee but surrounding areas aswell. I had an infected tooth that was giving me a fit, so o decided to go to aspen dental in Okeechobee and it was the best choice I’ve made. The staff, the front desk the assistants right on up to the doctor who extracted my tooth were awesome and did a great job. Was in and out in less than an hour and a half and didn’t feel a thing when dr was pulling my tooth. Great service and very kind stafff and dr. I highly recommend aspen dental of Okeechobee

I walked in need of a cleaning. 3 women were huddled around the reception desk. Another 2 ordering lunch. Total of 6 women in the reception area. It was awkward and unwelcoming. I asked for prices for cleaning and if they had a new patient special(none). The receptionist refused to provide any prices. First and last time in an Aspen dental! I do not recommend for humans in need of a cleaning, paying with cash.
