My stay at Encompass was the best decision I’ve ever made. The minute I came in I was treated with tender loving care. The place is state of the art. The staff from the nurses to the people who clean were very respectful, friendly and accommodating. I had therapy 3 hours a day in a well equipped gym. The Occupational and physical therapist were very professional and encouraging. In Even the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Tom Laughlin, PT walked around daily and greeted the patients, asking if all was well. I would recommend this facility to everyone .

Was very glad to start my rehabilitation for a fractured femur at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital. The staff was excellent; from the doctors to the day and night nurses. I have to name specifically two of my therapists that went above and beyond to lift my spirits and provide excellent PT, OT and group therapies; Sara and Jacob! No one likes hospitals but their necessary therapies depend mostly on how efficient and caring their staff is. Thanks too for their assistance to Amanda (caseworker) Dr Robelino and Dr. Ortiz. One of the best physical therapist I've ever seen my husband was there for one week. Doctors for the best. Nurses were very caring and wonderful to their patients. I recommend this we have high tech. Wonderful staff. Food is great. My husband said so and if he said so it's true because he's very particular.

I arrived at Encompass with muscle spasms from my shoulder to my foot from a pinched nerve. They helped to calm the spasms and then they started PT and OT to get me stronger. I left there able to use a walker for short distances and not having to rely on a wheelchair all the time
Encompass is where you go if you want to get better. You have 3 hours of therapy every day but that is the secret to their success. The healthy care professionals are wonderful. They listen to you and are open to trying different things.

When I had my stroke, at 52 years old, I had no idea how possible recovery was. With my left side completely limp, I feared the worst, as I'm an avid outdoors man. Fishing and hunting are a strong passion of mine and no longer being independent was very disheartening to me and my family.
We had a choice between several inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and we chose Encompass Health Hospital to begin our journey with us. When I first arrived I felt as if there was little hope to regain my independence, yet after only a week, I had regained the majority use of my left arm and learned so much from the Therapist at Encompass.
Physical Therapy focused mostly on my leg, while stimulation with electrode therapy worked so well for me. I was able to walk, albeit nothing like before, it was so uplifting for me and my family to see such improvements.
Similarly Occupational therapy focused on my left arm with E-Stem and by the time I left Encompass I had more than 70% use of my left arm and all but two of my fingers worked again.
My vision was impacted also, but with Speach therapy I stuck it out and the swelling subsided on my brain and I regained my vision completely.
The staff, including the nursing staff, doctors, CNAs and even the janitorial folks gave me a personal experience and made me feel at home and comfortable.
When it came time for my discharge (insurance doesn't allow much time, in my opinion) the staff made it clear what I needed to do to prepare for my outpatient rehabilitation, as well as what to expect. They even gave some recommendations on who to choose for my needs.

I pray that I never return for another stroke; however, if I did or have someone who does, I completely recommend Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital.

Best Rehab Facility in Town! Excellent Care! Excellent daily therapy...3 hours! Got my Mom, Kathy, in and out and independent in 9 days. Highly recommend. Therapists, nurses, doctors, nutritionists, chefs; case worker....did I forget anyone ALL 100% professional and quality care. So glad she went here. Your loved one will be in great hands.
