I was very please with my experience with the Nurse Practitioner Teresa Mendez. She was very kind and professional. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. The office manager/front office is horrible. The doctor that I had booked my appointment left the practice at this office and they never called me to cancel my original appointment. When I showed up, I was given an attitude, as if it was my fault that I had not received a call. She was very unpleasant, but I made a second appointment with the nurse practitioner to get my annual check up. During my second visit to their office, once again the front office/manager was rude and condescending. Will not be going back.

Don’t recommend at all. Tried making an appointment with a new doctor at a new office and found out that I could only schedule my appointment as an established patient which I understood but wanted to clarify I was there to get a second opinion and they said that was fine and I had an over due balance. I called back at a later date to pay the over due balance and they said that there was no balance due or co pay. I show up 15 minutes early to then go back and forth with the receptionist that I was not there for a yearly and she said that I needed one to talk to Dr. Quinn. I told her I wanted to talk to someone else and she passed me off to a different receptionist who told me it was policy to get an exam as a new patient but I wasn’t a new patient to their terms and she had even stated that prior when I said I wasn’t set up with a gyno in the office she said it didn’t matter that I was an established client when I got tired of arguing with her I said it’s fine I’ll just leave she ran into the back and came back to say I didn’t actually need an exam just my vitals taken which is expected. I then wait to be called back by the nurse who had the worst attitude with me and made a snarky comment about how high my heart rate was. I then got back to Dr. Quinn who was respectful while being completely uneducated. Wanted to put me on a hormonal IUD did my own research when I got home to find out I have like 4 conflicting health conditions and could’ve and most likely would’ve gotten hurt while making questionable comments on my other established providers. So disappointed and regulars were SHOCKED to hear this experience as I was referred by a family friend that felt so bad and is now second guessing switching providers.

Office manager is one of the rudest people to ever encounter. I called the office to let them know I was running behind office staff member said okay we will see you when you get here. Walk into the office and the office manager of the lady lake office gives off an attitude well they didn’t call the manager referring to herself. I decided to Reschedule appointment a couple weeks later. Fast forward to two weeks later, I’m 15 minutes early, new registration paperwork in hand. The front desk manager says I don’t have appointment; that the doctor is out of the office and that they called me with a raging attitude. They called me at 1540 the day before my appointment. I recommend hiring a new office manager, she lacks people skills and tactfulness.

I love this office, and all of the doctors! Dr Lee delivered my son and and Dr Britt delivered my daughter, and all of the doctors gave me the best experience and care with both pregnancies! I moved to Bradenton and drive 2 hours for my exams, etc just because I love being with these doctors, and the care I get from the whole office staff. I couldn’t ask for better care and love from all of the office! I love being known for who I am, by my name and face, not just as “another patient!” All of the doctors and nurses truly give each patient undecided attention and time and don’t make you feel rushed, very important in a doctors office. Thank you for being great!

I was denied care because i could pay half my deductible up front at my first visit. They wanted 2000$ first visit and would not allow me to pay my co fee and pay the rest off as I progress in my pregnancy. I have a history of loss and with just moving here 2000$ upfront the first visit is ridiculous!! Then they proceeded to tell me it would be 400$ every visit for 5 months so they get paid in full before i give birth. If i had a miscarriage they would refund the money. Im just shocked they are refusing care to women who dont have 2000$ upfront to pay the dr. Do not come here unless you have a low deductible that you can pay in full before birth. Ive had 2 kids and have NEVER been denied care because i didn't have the 2000$ to pay a dr upfront. Utterly ridiculous. And they waited until I was completely signed up in order to try and get me to pay this.
I also want to add i told the woman on the phone i have a history of miscarriages and if i could get in sooner than 8weeks for bloodwork. I just moved to fl mind you. And was told because im a new patient they "dont do that for new patients". The office manager did call asking what we could work out pay wise but at this point im quite uncomfortable even being seen here now regardless. How do you tell a woman with miscarriage history you cant help her until 8weeks because shes a new patient. The lack of care is uncomfortable to me. I appreciate the sweet office manager who did call me. Unfortunately the policies in place have made it uncomfortable & stressful for me to even consider care here.

I love Dr. Britt. I do not love that my appointment was at 8:45 and of course I was there 15 minutes early. Dr Britt was apparently in surgery and arrived at the office close to 10:00. Maybe they should have made my appointment for 9:45. I would have been there at 9:30. Would have worked better. Because patiently waiting is not my strong suit.

I adore Dr. Britt. She delivered my daughter four years ago and it was a beautiful experience. She still asks about her whenever I go in for my annual exam. She is kind, patient, and an all around lovely person.

Dr. Britt is always a fresh breath of air with a wicked sense of humor. You leave knowing she cares and has asked several times if you have any questions or concerns. Front check in could be a tad more personable but everyone else is great!
