I had to get two crowns done since my dentist got sick. Went to Dr. Ta for help and she was more than willing to help me. Very compassionate and caring Dr. Called to check on me to see how I was feeling. The overall experience was great. Very clean and inviting atmosphere.

Lake Quality Dental should be Lake Rip You Off Dental. I went there for a teeth filling, then became root canal and crown. Lack of personal, and poor customer care. I strongly DO NOT recommend you going there.
Here is my story: After so call “Doctor” Ta did the filling, my tooth became very sensitive. I can't drink hot or cold water, it hurts when brush teeth. I brought that to Doctor Ta’s attention, she did absolutely nothing and force to put on a crown. I’m there screaming hurt, she then gave me 2 dose injections of anesthesia and I was still in pain, she continued injected the third 3rd dose of anesthesia. She administered the anesthesia very rudely seems like she’s in a rush. My face swell for a week afterwards. My tooth hurts like crazy, I couldn't sleep for two consecutive nights. Yet, Lake Quality Dental refused to take me in for a look.

I found another dentist. Which they took a X-Ray, found that two nerves of that tooth had died, and the other two nerve were dying. The dentist had to drill through the new crown to do a root canal.

It was a very stressful experience with Lake Quality Dental. 0 star, DO NOT recommend period

I've been going to Dr. Ta for ten years (since I was 12) and she has always been so compassionate and caring. She makes sure I'm taken care of and helps make sure my appointments are efficiently scheduled because I drive up from Lakeland (2 hours away). Seeing Dr. Ta is worth the drive because I know I'm always in good care here. Everyone at Lake Quality Dental is always so kind to work with.

I chipped my tooth at a very inconvenient time just as I was about to travel and needed an urgent temporary crown. I was seen promptly by Dr Ta who fixed me up. Dr Ta and her team were very professional and accommodating. I did not feel like just another client amongst many. They treated me with respect. And then when I came back from traveling they arranged for a permanent crown which took no time at all. I am very happy with the end result and would not hesitate to come here again!

I like the dentist & hygienist me and my used used for dental care. My disappointment was with Debra. She is not on her game which creates issues with administration. In 2022, she informed me dentist would no longer accept DD. I ask for a list to choose a in-network provider they did accept for open enrollment. I chose MetLife PPO HIGH. It was on her list. Emailed her new info on 1/1/2023. She responded great you are all set up and she called to say the same. Husbands appt on 1/3 went well but I received notice from MetLife about bill amount l. I’m emailed her to let her know I would take care of my appt on 1/25. She looked it up and said okay will do. On my appt reminder call from her, I brought it up again and she said no issue see you on 25th @9 am. At no point with several emails & phone calls did she say the plan I put on the list is out of network. She knew we had a federal plan. We had several discussions about it. She waits until I show up at appt today to tell me the plan you chose is not in network. Then she says she doesn’t remember speaking with me or the emails (she responded to). I ask for my records she says okay to have a seat after we argued over the fact that she had many occasions to tell me BEFORE my 9 am appointment they were out-of-network even though she gave me the insurance choices. From behind the desk she ask me while sitting near the door what my email is. I tell her. She responds don’t yell it to me. She didn’t ask me to come over & I didn’t yell. She also thought it was necessary to tell me that she deals with hundreds of patients. I’m guessing she wanted me to feel sorry for her. But the fact is she’s not volunteering time she’s being paid to do job to the benefit of the dentist. Nothing about this entire experience dealing with her was pleasant & was a complete nightmare. When did administration, staff stop caring about the administrative process of the business which is the first contact a patient receives?

My last visit was over a year ago, the staff and Dr. Ta remembers the little details from my last visit. I am so ecstatic to feel like i am not just another number. I had change insurance and they went out of their way to verified the coverage. Took the time to explain what may or may not be covered and gave me an approximation. Such a wonderful office.

I provide IT support support for several dental practices throughout Central Florida. No one does as thorough and professional a job a providing a safe and sanitary workplace as Doctor Ta. Also, she is always updating her office to offer the most up to date care for her patients. The staff is always welcoming and treat the patients as if they were family. My own son needs to see a dentist, and instead of seeing someone local, is choosing to drive an hour away just to receive treatment from Lake Quality Dental. I would recommend this group to anyone needing the best dental care available.
