I came to Dr. Englert as a second opinion regarding a previous diagnosis of bilateral Achilles tendinitis, two bone spurs, and toenail fungus. The previous Podiatrist was recommending over $2000 of non surgical treatment out of pocket. Dr. Englert took the time to ask questions and examine my feet and condition! He taped my left foot adjust the arch a heel support for 3 days after which certain exercises and a 2 week follow up appointment were recommended. I found him to be thorough, professional, and personable. I appreciate his initial less costly approach to lessen or eliminate my foot pain. In two weeks, he will consider other treatments as or if necessary. I highly recommend Dr. Englert.

Do not go there. The receptionist and doctor are rude and you get the feeling of bothering them. I went to see the doctor because of foot pain. He literally put some tape and cuison around my foot and charged a 191 dollars for it. It's called a Una boot that did nothing at all. It fell apart the same evening and the tape rippled of as soon as I took my socks off. I could have gotten the same tape at Walmart for 8 bucks. I have asked to have the charge removed. The doctor was unwilling and so here comes the bad review. I will make sure that no one I know will go there. Horrible

If I could give less than one star, I would do so! I have seen podiatrist in three difference states and this was by far the worst experience that I have ever had! Receptionist was rude on the phone (hung up on me and basically called me a liar). Even worse in the office. Dr. Englert performed a cursory examination and almost everything he told me was in conflict with what my past podiatrists have told me regarding my feet. When I told him that I was going to complain about his receptionist' conduct he rudely informed me that he would back her up! Then to make matters even worse after nearly two weeks his office has still not sent my prescription to the Orthotic Prosthetic Center, something which should have been done the day of my appointment!! I wonder if the delay is payback for my complaint?
UPDATE TO MY REVIEW
After waiting for two weeks (and I am sure after reading my review), the "Mighty Dr. Englert" has decided that I am not a candidate for diabetic inserts and shoes! This after telling me in his office after my examine that he would be sending a prescription for three sets of inserts and a pair of shoes. I guess that my review caused him to rethink my condition! I have been to podiatrist in Missouri, Tennessee and Florida, all of these doctors prescribed inserts and the doctors in Tennessee and Florida ordered diabetic shoes as well! This doctor(?) is simply using his power to punish me for the review I posted. Now I have to spend more time and money to see a real doctor at the Watson Clinic. If you want to see a doctor who puts his ego ahead of patient care, then Doctor(?) Englert is your guy, otherwise I recommend seeing any other podiatrist at any other Clinic, do not go to the Bond Clinic!!

As I was sitting in the room I could hear the Dr. talk about and the fact I was wearing flip flops and that I was heavy. So I knew he already had a pre conceived notion of me.
Once he came in the room he mentioned my wearing flip flops a new that they had no support, but I know how painful it is to wear regular shoes. He asked about previous treatments and I explained I have had multiple orthotics and 2 boots to help but they cause blisters which make it worse to walk.
Also that my weight was a huge factor. It didn’t matter if I was lighter or heavy I still had the pain and it keeps me from being as active as I want to be.
I was told there is nothing they can do for me.
Just not happy with whole experience ?

I had a wonder experience! The staff was friendly and so was Dr. Englert! He thoroughly explained everything he was doing or planning to do to make my foot better, and a week later everything is healing nicely and I’m making a great recovery! I couldn’t be happier!

Be careful. This doctor did foot surgery on my husband & to this day his foot drags. It's terrible to come out of an expensive surgery worse than you went in. Shame on "Doctor" Englert.

I paid $100, for the doctor to tell me to buy an over the counter medicine that I told him it didn’t work for me before. If you have a situation just Google it. So disappointed ☹️

This doctor is against veterans. I asked him for a letter for my VA disability claim and he refused with no explanation at all.
