My husband and I have been patients here for several years. He has dental insurance and they were in his network. I am a cash patient. At his last appointment, after treatment and checking out, he was told they no longer process claims with his insurance. He paid by credit card and called his insurance. He has to submit the bill to be reimbursed. This is ridiculous. He changed dentists. I went today and had trays and cleaning. Saw dentist for 2 minutes. Charge was $175. OK I asked about my " to go " bag with a toothbrush, paste, floss. I have always received one every single time I go to the dentist. No matter where, when. I was told they don't do this anymore. I expressed my complete disbelief, shock, and anger. Was told they have a right to make changes in how they run their practice. This made me so mad. It's the little things sometimes. I am finding a new dentist.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this dental office. Not only was I charged an unexpected rescheduling fee, but I also had to wait 20 mins more to see the dentist despite arriving on time. While if I get late a few mins, they will just move forward with next patient and charge me $50 for that time period I have scheduled. Additionally, I felt pressured to undergo treatments that I didn’t feel were necessary. It felt like they were more focused on upselling services rather than addressing my actual dental needs. Overall, the experience was frustrating and left me feeling uneasy.

Filed a BBB complaint with the following message: My initial consultation was 08/05/24, paid a $50 deductible.
I went back 09/11/24 and paid $2153.30 in cash as the charges were $2563 and the insurance coverage
ESTIMATE was $409.70.
I received an additional bill for $29.70 and became suspicious because I previously called my insurance prior because I noticed I over paid. In total charges my insurance states I am responsible for $1852.80
There is a discrepancy of $300. I called the office spoke to Brittany and she told me I would receive a call back because the office manager was out of office for personal reasons. I let a month go by and today 12/12/24 | called back again. Brittany was immediately defensive and openly told me that if I had my insurance call to figure out the charges it would be a "dead end" and that once again the OM was out of office and would eventually get back to me but that all the charges were right and the missing credit was due to what my insurance failed to cover.
Additionally I asked her for a list of billed charges with codes to compare what my insurance had sent me and she stated she would send them a few minutes after ending our call. I never received an email from them. I am attaching all my printed receipts from the office and the claims submitted by this office to my insurer. I had planned to continue my treatment here but I will no longer be coming to this dental practice and will be leaving a detailed review on any available platform if this issue is not resolved. The practices of this office are not acceptable, the customer service is deplorable and I have only dealt with the condescending Brittany who interrupted me to inform me that Henry Schein was a supply company and did not seem to comprehend that they were on my bill when I was asking who to go to for help since I wasn't receiving any from them. It is on the bottom left corner of the mailed bill Brittany if you ever read this.

My appointment with Dr. Patel and his staff today went amazing. They were kind, patient, and I could feel them take their time with me as I was extremely nervous to get my fillings done. My cleaning was actually relaxing in a way, my tooth polish was quick and easy (and also strawberry flavored) and when Dr. Patel went in to do my fillings he avoided any anesthetic unless I needed it--which eased a lot of my fears. My previous dentist hit one of my facial nerves while doing my fillings many years ago. I also ended up having to get a tooth pulled, which was originally supposed to be a filling but at closer look it needed more. It was literally a 5 minute procedure. The anesthetic he did for that really did not hurt at all, either. I had many options on my treatment and I had the final say in all of it and that made the appointments so much easier. Everything I had done in one appointment was done in 2 hours and I was able to go to work afterwards. Sorry this is kind of long but I really am grateful for this office!!

Serenity Dental has always been a great experience for me, whether its been a routine cleaning or a filling. My last visit they were able to get my afternoon appointment moved up to the morning and sent a voicemail and text to reach me. The staff is always friendly and smiling. I definitely recommend these dentists especially since the collier office is so easy to get to

The very best dental appointment in 77 years. My visit was arranged within 1 day of calling the most friendly and professional staff. I was truly impressed with the end results when I exited 1 hour later feeling 100% better. A great experience at the dentist. I am so glad I called them. All my life I’ve had dental issues. I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist because it’s always painful because I never took great care of my teeth. I didn’t know how to floss properly.
When I started coming to Serenity Dental, I was scared. After the first visit, I was surprised I wasn’t in any pain and there was nothing to be scared of. I was still apprehensive, but as the years have gone by, I’ve stuck it out and I haven’t had a cavity since. I’ve learned how to floss properly. I go every six months and keep my appointments. I no longer dread going to the dentist.

We have been faithful customers since 2007. The service at Serenity has been one of the best, if not the best, from the front desk to the hygienist, who let me tell you are the most gentle you can find. Doctor Patel is always upfront with you and cares about your oral hygiene. We like that he takes his time explaining any issues you may have.
