Beware of staff! While Dr A is great and I was with him for over 5 years, the office staff is unprofessional, inconsiderate and down right malicious. About a year ago I called into the office trying to find out what time my telehealth appointment was going to take place because I did not receive a call at the specific time it was set up for (sometimes the Dr runs behind) and it was going on 20min. When I called into the front desk the woman who answered had an immediate attitude and indicated it was my fault for missing it. I again advised her of the appointment time and that no call came through, she stated that there was nothing that she was willing to do because I had missed the appointment. Trying to clarify that no one called me for the appointment and that I had been sitting by the phone waiting for it, she started becoming hostile and said " it sounds like you're to stupid to answer the phone cause it shows we tried calling". I asked her to let the Dr know that my phone didn't ring and that I would wait for him on the line so we could complete the appointment (it had been 20min). She refused and said since it was my fault I would have to reschedule. I asked her to tell me the number they called... She replied that she wasn't going to "waste her time with a liar"! Being very upset about the way she was talking to me and that I had been waiting for this appointment for weeks, I broke down in tears. Crying I asked to speak to someone else but she refused to transfer me, out of frustration I told her to f off and hung up. I called back trying to reach the office manager to let them know what had occurred, but each time I called the same woman would answer and hang up on me. I finally got thru to the office manager voicemail and recounted the interaction, I didn't hear anything again after that. Then 7 months later I called and set up a new appointment. I called in a few days before to confirm and guess who answers!!! I didn't say anything but next thing I find out is that the appointment was cancelled. I tried to reach out to the office manager but was told the doctor 'discharged' me because of what she went and told him 9months after the fact! After going through so many medical issues and everything else for all those years, the doctor didn't even give a thought to it, he just took her manipulative word for what I said. I would have at least had my staff reach out to the patient and find out what happened and get both sides of the story. So while he is a good doctor make sure you tell him how the staff treat you if there is an issue. I am sure there will be while he still employs that unprofessional woman !

I have been seeing Dr Abdelsatar for over a year now. He is a very caring doctor who actually listens to you. When I found myself in the ER with Gallbladder trouble, he actually came to see me in the ER and was there everyday until my discharge. It is a much better experience when your own doctor does rounds with you instead of the hospitalist. Thank you for being the best doctor I have ever had!!!

Dr Kandil is good but the front desk fails to send your lab work order to the diagnostics place…then when you call and ask them to send it, they don’t even send the doctor’s actual script to Quest….they make up their own and send one missing 90% of what the order requested. No clue how that’s possible or why they have that kind of power to override a doctor’s orders but that’s exactly what happened to me!

I've been with this doctor since 2021,
Then I go for my appointment today and I was told I was kicked out after being a patient for 5 yrs. I had a major car accident last year and This accident caused me to be immobile and I was only able to do telephone visits. In september 2024, I went to see the doctor and did all my blood work and everything came back great. I had an appointment today and was told to find another physician. I was in culture shock, they are saying I missed 3 appointments that I tried to reschedule but the phone was going to voicemail. In the year 2023 I showed up for 22 appointments. They alleged they emailed me a letter which I did not receive. I will attach a copy. After 5 years, I find this disgraceful and very inconsiderate of my well-being. This Doctor also takes months off and you have to wait for him to respond to get your medication. I have referred over 20 people.thinking wow what a great Dr. Unfortunately I am ashamed to even say I recommend friends and.family . Most of all after 5 yrs which i cancled 2 appointments due to covid. I have never been rude to the staff and I have actually bought gifts for the staff. The comment that was made that I was rude is not my character and completely false. Please find attached letter that was supposedly mailed. Every mail delivered shows me what was delivered. Nothing came from the office which is another lie.
So after 5 years and calling 3 times today with no response I requested the letter. Below is the alledged letter that is so false .
What was stated in the letter is completely against who I am. In addition I was tied by office manager that I was going to receive a phone call today from her or Dr. K , surprise no call receive. This is typical for this office. If you read all other reviews you will see I am not the only person who has an issue with staff.

I find it necessary to inform you that I will no longer be able to serve as your doctor. The primary difficulty has been numerous no shows and the attitude toward my staff.

I recommend you promptly find another physician who can best care for your medical needs and demands that best fits your medical history. To obtain names of other physicians who may be accepting new patients, please contact our office.

I will remain available to provide medical treatment to you, on an emergency basis only until November 23 2024. While you have an opportunity to arrange for another physician.

Once you have found another physician and we receive an appropriate authorization, I will forward a copy of your medical records. I will also be happy to discuss your case with the physician. assuming your care. Enclosed, please find a copy of a medical records release authorization form for you to complete and return to my office as soon as possible.

While it is unfortunate that our relationship has reached this stage, I will not be able to provide medical care of any kind to you after November 23rd 2024.

Horrible Doctor... horrible waste of time... HORRIBLE TREATMENT WHEN MAKING ROUNDS IN THE HOSPITAL. Heaven forbid your condition depends on him making more than 1 visit in a day!!! You will have to wait apparently until the next day... Even when the hospital staff is making repeated calls and leaving multiple important messages on different types of media. And don't sign yourself out of the hospital for lack of treatment if he is your pcp and you're not getting the care you need because then you get a call on the next business day from his supposedly lovely office staff (according to other B.S. reviews) dismissing you from his practice because YOU are a liability to HIM!!! DO YOUR JOB AND MAYBE THAT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!!!

Dr. Abdelsatar is a wonderful doctor. He is thorough, compassionate and professional.
He actually takes the time to listen to his patients.
Highly recommended.
