Fui operado de hernia hace aproximadamente 15 dias por el Dr Azuaje,exelente persona y un gran profesional,el trato muy familiar,fue capaz de explicarme detalladamente cada paso del tratamiento con mucha amabilidad y paciencia.Elevado nivel cientifico en su especialidad.Recomiendo a aquellos que tengan algun problema de salud relacionado con hernias de la pared abdominal que acudan al Dr Azuaje que saldran muy complacidos como lo estoy yo ahora.

Dr. Azuaje did an amazing job with my umbilical hernia surgery. He performed a no mesh suture in 2016 (I forgot to leave a review) and I have had no issues since! I highly recommend this doctor, he really takes care of his patients and I am grateful. I would pay any amount to this doctor if I needed it again, he is worth it.

Dr. Azuaje performed umbilical hernia surgery on my Dad. He is very professional and knowledgeable and clearly cares about his patients. The surgery went great, and he was very thorough and attentive both before and after the surgery. Highly recommend!

Two months ago Dr. Azuaje performed surgery on my inguinal hernia, and I'm now totally back to normal. He totally cured me!!! The entire experience was smooth and professional, and the recovery was super easy. He explained everything to me prior to the surgery and was available to answer all of my questions. I highly highly recommend him!!

Dr. Azuaje was super professional and he made everything very easy and convenient. From Diagnosis to surgery was exactly one week. It's been 5 days and i'm on my feet again. It could not have gone any smoother. I know the recovery will take a few more weeks but i'm so glad he helped me get this done quickly so i can get back to tennis and lifting weights. My advice is to go with a surgeon who has tons of experience like Dr. Azuaje. Highly recommend!

I had the surgery a week ago and already feeling better. Don't get me wrong, first days after surgery there will be pain. He was very proffessional, even taught me how to feel where the hernia was and what procedure he will use. Went to a surgical center of his choice and everyone one in his team was fun, yes, fun is a word you can use for such a serious manner. Thanks Dr. Azueja, sadly I hope I never have to see you again ?; at least not in a clinic.

Dr Rafael Azuaje so far has been a great and attentive Dr. More so than most .I had 3 surgical opinions and his explanation of the procedure was the most precise and from my research seemed the most correct. He has an ultrasound in his office which was above and beyond hands on proof of what was going on with my umbilical hernia other Drs had me go elsewhere for the ultrasound. The procedure was performed and I virtually only had slight pain and taking advil.and icing the area. It was an open procedure and might have taken a little more time to heal but laparoscopic I read has more risks. It is now 4 1/2 weeks and I am trying to get back to the gym and Dr Rafael advised me to wait till January. I'm a 71 Year old and maybe that's the best course of action. VIRTUALLY NO PAIN THE ENTIRE TIME which is unheard of. I will keep you posted with my convalescence. He always his been very attentive and answers the telephone when you call . I can only admire and recommend this great attribute and behavior. He is devoted to his practice.
