Dr Wallace is top of the line. He took care of me when the VA failed miserably. My follow-up appointments went great and my healing process was closely monitored by the doctor. I am 100% pleased with the outcome and no longer embarrassed to wear flops or be barefoot at the beach because of 1 toe.

However, as mentioned in other reviews, the front office is clueless. They charged me $30 for "medication" that turned out to be iodine and eye drops. In total it sells for $11 at Walgreens for both and you get minimum double the sizes. Honestly, you get way more than that at Walgreens for less than half the price. The doctors could save a lot of money by cleaning out the front office and getting a couple competent staffers. And do better with a couple nurses that don't have weak stomachs when doc rips a toenail off. Good thing I had medical training and have seen my share of combat action. It did not bother me at all.

Note: For military members using Tricare and VA. These community care doctors stick their necks out for us. They take and accept the horrible payments that Tricare and the VA pay and normally charge us nothing unless it's a co-pay. The insurance system is a big game of screw the patient, screw the doctor. I'm thankful there are doctors in our community that tolerate these greedy insurance companies and take care of us veterans and treat us with respect and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Wallace and his associate. I would request them by name. The front office is a small price to pay for the experience and care you get from the Docs. Top Knotch!! Thank you Doc Wallace.

Dr. Wallace was very professional. There was a lady who apparantly has the doctors stamp signature who was being an A--. I had to have my Wounded warriors leave form signed that I came to see the doctor and the lady was acting like I'm doing something illegal. I told her that this is a form I have to get filled and signed because that is why I took the leave from work and she was talking to me like I'm stupid and says this has nothing to do with us. Really lady! first they wanted to charge me $30 for the papers to get signed and then they dont want to sign my forms. What is this world coming to? I am a veteran who has earned my wounded warrior leave and getting seen for my disabilities taking time off work to do so and she wants to deny me that. The form is letting my employer know that I did come and see the doctor. She needs to read up on stuff and stop talking to other people like she is lady superior. Reading the form below it tells you that the employee is requesting leave under wounded warrior federal leave act for treatment of a service connected disability. Treatment is defined as an in-person visit to a health care provider. Os it not clear enough for you to understand. I will be asking my primary doctor for a referral to another podiatry doctor who will treat me like a person and allow me to use my wounded warrior leave as I have earned.

Dr. Wallace gave me excellent care during my ingrown toenail surgery and recovery. He went above and beyond to make sure I was healing properly.

I've been going here for more than 20 year, Dr. Daugherty has done surgery more than 5 times. When other doctors suggested I needed to have my foot amputated, he said "I can admit you to the hospital and debride (remove the infection) your foot. There isn't a need for amputation."

Waited 1 hour before being seen for an appointment. Dr told me it was hereditary and sent me on my way in all of 6 minutes. I paid over $200 out of pocket for NOTHING. Called back to speak with the office manager, she was nice but no help either. Dr gave no progression plan, vital information, and showed no concern at all. Take your dogs somewhere else to be seen. ?

Have been going here for foot issue's since December of 2019. Still have major surgeries to come. Have to say that Dr Wallace has been very professional and very helpful. The staff has been very nice and all are very polite. Glad I found them or they found me in the ER.

These Doctors and staff are the best in South Georgia! They get to the root of your problem and don’t just treat symptoms. The success rate of their surgeries are extremely high and favorable. I would not go anywhere else if you want precise and favorable outcome.

Ladies up front are a little rude. Because I called and asked if I could just walk in and she said she could try to fit me in but then when I get there she pretends she doesn’t say that? Anyway! The other nurse I think an actual nurse helped me and I got in and the doctor helped me right away! Got an ingrown toenail removed! So perfect besides the first receptionist.
