I came here because I needed a vaccination. I assumed (wrongly) that the health dept was there to help people. I was told by the RN, I think her name is Bella, that they were out of the public stock of the vaccine I needed, that costs $21, she had to go into the private stock. How are there separate public and private vaccination stocks I was charged $178 for this vaccine. $153 for the vaccine, $25 for it being administered. Effingham Co Health Dept, you should be ashamed for charging these prices.

Poor customer service and zero skills with professionalism. I came in to get my son vaccinated and was verbally abused in a lobby when the employee was supposed to have been inputting his information in the system so he can get vaccinated and go back to school. Literally waited 50 min after my appointment was scheduled and I dont understand why.... needs a serious clean up with employee and public support.

We went in the office believing that their website is accurate. It is not. The website states they take walk in pregnancy services, but when you drive up, there’s signs everywhere saying you need to make an appointment before you can enter. If you call to make an appointment, they don’t answer the phone. I live relatively far from this location, so this is pretty aggravating.

I had an appointment to get a vaccine and they closed down the day of my appointment and I guess for a week after and never bothered calling me to let me know it was canceled. Getting back a hold of them has been difficult. I'd give less than a one star but it's not possible, Everyone that works there hates their job or something because they are all rude. Horrible health department.

I was told I could stop in and get the next few months of my birth control pill when I run out. No call or appointment needed. She said just come on by! I stopped by and they made me feel like an idiot. With a snark attitude they told me I needed an appointment and that they had nothing on me in the system (even though I’ve been getting Birth control there for the past year). They need to get it together. I had to leave with nothing after driving all the way there.

My husband and I just came from our Covid vaccine. We watched as they wiped the seats in the waiting room and the door after each person. They were organized and professional. I hope they will be able to give the second shot next month.
