I have been torn regarding writing a review as I hate to write anything negative about a minority owned business but the service or rather lack thereof is POOR. If could give them 0 stars I would. My issues ranged from the office staff changing my appointment time several times without asking my permission (simply a text msg), and then on the day of the appointment, they opened the office 30 minutes late which meant I was on time waiting in my car and they were late with no apology, and I still had to wait, when I was the only patient (poor time management) at that time. On that same day, I had to fill out paperwork twice because the receptionist was incompetent and the newest receptionist is rude. Additionally, on the day of my appointment, I was charged upfront fees for my service, which I promptly paid but never received a detailed receipt of the services rendered and they knowingly overcharge me. My portion should have only been $74.21 but they charged me $175.81 and have refused to issue a refund. To add I have been waiting for nearly a month to get prelim dates for surgery, but the Office Manager, Ann, never returns calls If the front/back office is in disarray what does that imply about the quality of any procedure to be performed. If I were to move forward with my surgery, shall I expect incompetence and an astronomical bill because they do not have their books and records in order. I would stay away from this business, if you don't want to waste time or get cheated .

Update : How many calls should I make? I have a full time job . I made several attempts to contact your so called office Manager. Whenever I called she was always “calling me back” “or she had a pamper to change and will call me back” or she said I’m waiting on the doctor to get beck to me . Instead of directing me on whether I should write a review …shift that energy to your back office staff. Let’s start by providing a receipt for services billed and provide me my refund You are well aware of these issues as you spoke with my insurance company directly and they advised YOU of these issues and during that call you refused to provide my insurance company with your office manager contact info.

Dr. Felicia Dickson Pierre is wonderful. Very professional and the office is impeccable. ( Believe me, it is clean, even the restroom.) Dr. Pierre takes her time and gets to know her patients. She explains what is going on and actually shows you the x-rays, points out so you will walk away with an understanding of your condition. The staff is warm and caring. I was not a patient there but my daughter was and I went with her on two occasions. Though our experience at first seemed good it rapidly deteriorated. Wait time was way excessive. Response time as far as paperwork need to be given to the employer my daughter worked for was unbelievably bad. Their attitude stunk very rapidly into her several sessions. She was unnecessarily charged twice for basically the same small bit of paperwork that meant everything to her and her job but nothing to the, Unbelievably she heard the doctor use a swear word when the desk person announced that she was there to pick up vital paperwork. Her file was "Lost again". The doctor berated the desk lady for shoddy work then and (This is the ultimate) the desk lady walked into the waiting area to enter another office to look for her file and raised and shook her fist with a mean look to my daughter who was just sitting there - waiting for more than 2 hours! It was a shocking and threatening gesture! And, I do NOT have the wrong doctor. Felicia Pierre's office.

Dr Pierre is a consummate professional. She is very thorough and provides an excellent exam. Her explanation of my problem was clear and understandable. She allows for questions and ensures you understand how to apply your treatment. Excellent physician.

Doctor was very professional and polite, however the front office staff is very rude and also overcharged for services. According to insurance, copay was only $60.00 and they charged $186.58 front desk person said that they did not know what they were going to do yet and they had to charge that. Regardless, my copay was $60.00. Now I am having to deal with asking for a refund and who knows how long it will take to get my money back. Also, when calling a couple of times because my phone kept disconnecting, front desk person answered the phone yelling saying they were at lunch like telling me to stop calling, their voice mail states they do lunch from 12-1 pm and I was calling after that time.

After going to several podiatrist, Dr. Felicia Pierre was the only podiatrist to diagnose the problem and give me the proper treatment to removed the fungus off my foot. Although I was embarrassed to say that I had a fungus on my foot. However, I am extremely grateful for her expertise. I will recommend this facility to everyone.
