How blessed we are to have a first class orthopedic surgeon here in North Georgia. I had a full knee replacement from Dr. Doroodchi and it was excellent. He explained everything to me, answered all my questions, instituted multiple safeguards against infection and clotting, and the surgery was a great success. He is caring, experienced, and you could not do better than Dr D. Even the hospital staff sing his praises. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

I have had arthritis knee injections twice before by other doctors. I was surprised to find better medical equipment in his small town office than in the big medical center I had gone before. Dr. Doroodchi was more through than the other doctors, explains things well, and has a good bedside manner. His nurse is also very knowledgeable and professional. I Highly recommend this practice.

My son has had a open wound for 2 years. We got in to see Dr. Doroodchi after being turned down by several other orthopedic doctors. He had different tests ran on him. Went in for surgery. It's been 6 weeks since the surgery. His arm is healing up and closed up pretty much. No infection, No pain. Dr. Doroodchi and his staff have been a true blessing in our lives. He has changed my son's health.

My husband was diagnosed by our family doctor with LT band syndrome and prescribed therapy to relieve pain. After 6 months with no improvement, he saw Dr. Doroodchi who ordered x-rays of his hip and knee. He told my husband the problem was his back and not his hip or knee and referred him to a neurosurgeon. After 2 lumbar surgeries, he is pain free. Blue Ridge and north Georgia are very fortunate to have Dr. Doroodchi!

This is the kindest and most thorough doctor that I've ever met in my life.
I went in for what I thought was severe hip pain turned out to be my lower back. A field in which he had been participating in in the past but does not currently do anything with spinal issues.
Recommended and did X-rays and an MRI. Then took the time to help me get set up with someone in the field in order to get the issue handled.
It's nice to see someone that still cares.

I truly regret taking my daughter to this doctor , I wish I could go back and change this day for her . Do not take a child to this dr, I should of did more research but we were very desperate for some answers that he couldn’t even give ! I will say the front office staff was very kind , but this Dr needs to be looked into by the medical Board ! My child fell down 6 hardwood steps and had a pretty bad fall , we had originally went to urgent care because of the swelling and pain . X-rays showed no fractures , the NP told us that it could take a week for a fracture to show . So I followed up with a orthopedic in our network and unfortunately went to this location . The dr had no bedside manner at all, he wouldn’t let me help her remove her brace or sling , he said it was part of the exam , that she had to do it on her own ! Issue was , she was not able to and I had been helping her day and night with this.She is left handed and that was the injured hand / arm , she couldn’t even write with a pencil ! She had tears running down her face trying to take it off , eventually she had it almost off and the Velcro was sticking to her sweater and I wanted to help her so bad , but he was very firm about me touching her or even getting close to help her! This was causing her excruciating PAIN! When we left “ she told me that it hurt her so bad , and had made it worst from her taking it off on her own , she also said she was scared to speak up because of the way he would talk to her !
He did not take more x-rays , instead asked me what to do when he was the dr , he kept asking her questions a child wouldn’t be able to answer ! Very confusing, she would point to the spot that hurt , he would touch it and then say so that doesn’t hurt , and tell her he needed to see her face when he was pressing all over her arm ! He said he has never seen anything like this before , except once a year ! He then said we could do physical therapy and a MRI, why would we do physical therapy immediately when we didn’t know exactly what was injured in her arm ! Why wouldn’t we do more x-rays before a MRI He wanted me to bring her back in one week! He gave us no answers. Also said he saw no bruising ,he said show me the bruise , it was on her elbow ( have a picture of the bruise) I showed him and he brushed it off ! Anything my daughter told him, he would turn it around . I also noticed he would smile at my son and talk to him nicely but my daughter was treated terribly , she asked him how he was doing when walked in and he didn’t respond to that ! Very strange , if I had not of paid a very high copay and waited Nearly two hours we would of left when she was forced to remove the brace on her own !
This was a terrible experience, waste of time , money and traumatizing for a child !
I wouldn’t even give this one star, save yourself the trouble !

Dr. Doroodchi has been great!! I’ve had both knees replaced and doing good. He has been very kind every time I’ve been to him. I would highly recommend him!!
