I'm very happy with Dr. Wilk. He's great at knowing when to bring in specialists and always knows the best doctors for referrals. Our whole family sees him and have only had positive experiences.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review of a health care provider prior to this. I saw Dr. Wilk for approximately two years. Dr. Wilk rushed through nearly every appointment I had with him, was distracted during every appointment and often missed key symptoms while examining me. For example, for over 8 months he insisted that I had stenosis of the spine which was causing severe short fiber neuropathic pain. When I finally got to a neurologist (who is fantastic) she discovered that my pain had nothing to do with “stenosis” but is the result of an adverse reaction to the Covid 19 vaccine. He missed the fact that I received the vaccine on October 9th, 2021 and came down with the pain on October 10th 2021, and that I had never had short fiber nerve pain prior to that episode. In my last visit with Dr. Wilk he asked me, completely out of the blue, if I had considered using a seasonal affective disorder lamp. I’ve never had SAD, we weren’t discussing depression or SAD, and his interjection was clearly an indication that he wasn’t paying attention to what we were discussing. He also has a snide side to him: When I recently questioned why he wanted to consider putting me on statins despite the fact that my HDL and LDL were in ideal ranges, he suggested that “I should consider moving to a concierge practice”. Unbelievable. I won’t be back.

Dr wilk has been caring for my mother over a long illness. He is on top of all her symptoms, getting her specialist care when needed, and also making her feel cared for. Office staff is also very kind, and work to get her in quickly when needed.

Dr. Wilk is actually a phenomenal doctor. He has historically been essentially handicapped by a completely and utterly HORRIBLE office staff - namely Pam, the receptionist. She is quite possibly the worst person to walk the face of this earth, barring very few others.

Dr. Wilk, however, is AMAZING. He is in the process of moving to a different practice, and I will be following him (thankfully he is NOT taking his staff). He is kind, understanding, patient, and remarkably humble, in a field where far too few understand the meaning of humility.

Only giving you one star because you have to mark a star. They dont deserve that much. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. My insurance wouldn't cover my blood thinners Dr. Wilk prescribed and without that coverage it was going to average around $680 a month. I needed them because I have a clotting disorder and I was pregnant. The receptionist told me they wouldn't prescribe me anything else and that if I wanted my insurance to cover the medication I needed to pay my deductible which was $2500. I asked her, so if I can't afford to pay $680 for this prescription what makes you think I can afford my deductible out of pocket. She said well just go into the ER for something and that should cover it. She wouldn't even schedule me an appointment to come in to see what the doctor said. Two days later I got a blood clot in my uterus and it killed the baby I was carrying. I found out that there was another medication that could be prescribed and Wilk would have prescribed it if I had gone in. If the receptionist would have just scheduled me an appointment or told him my insurance wouldn't cover my blood thinners, it would have prevented the clot and I'd still have my baby. So because of the ignoramus working the desk her name is Kim my baby is dead.

The receptionists and all of the staff at the Steele Street clinic are extremely friendly and helpful. They seem to genuinely care about your well-being. Dr. Wilk spends time with you and does not dismiss symptoms. He wants to get to the root of the issue.

I do not recommend Dr. Wilk. He rushes through appointments, does not want you to ask questions and tells you to do your own research online instead of telling you about a condition. When he left my most recent appointment he didn't say bye, didn't wish me well or anything.. he just walked out the door. I can't recommend him to anyone and will not be seeing him again. Also the treatment plan he recommended was ineffective.

This doctors office is the most unprofessional I've ever been to, one receptionist in pareticular is extremly rude.I've seen them argue with each other on several visits. The energy is award and uncomfortable umongst the employees. They don't seem very organized. If they are sending you here for severe and chronic pain ask for another referral. They have a nice physical therapy facility but if your pain worsens for reasons he won't prescribe your needed medications if they are narcotics because he isn't comfortable so it's best to have a doctor who will listen to you and understand your needs. I've been in the ER several times haven't been able to stand up right for 2 weeks. Tried every other medication he every prescribed to me to no avail. I can never get him on the phone he is to scared to talk to me personally so he has his rude receptionist do it for him. Leaving me in pain is really unethical.
