The most wonderful ER I have ever been to. If you are lucky enough to have Chase as your nurse, who I had the privilege of getting twice, consider yourself lucky. He was so compassionate and caring. He actually listened to me and didn’t treat me like I was mental. The doctors also treated me so well. They listened to me and treated my symptoms quickly. If you have to choose between NCMC and UC Greeley, choose NCMC. UC Health was a nightmare. Will always go back to NCMC!

Didn’t listen to me at all, cleared me to return to my physically demanding job the next morning even though their own printed instructions state to stay home resting for 2-3 days if symptoms are severe. Chest pain? Feeling like I’m going to pass outNot severe enough, I had better go work in the sun for 10+ hours, right? After the nurse practitioner discharged me, the nurse or medical assistant told me, “next time you’re feeling this way, try some breathing techniques.” Insinuating I was just having a panic attack or something. I CAN’T BREATHE!!! (I thought it was bronchitis or pneumonia) That’s WHY I CAME IN. Not to forget to mention NO ONE diagnosed me as having a panic attack so really unprofessional for her to make that snarky comment to me. I could have gone to a much smaller place if I didn’t think it was severe enough and necessary. Worst hospital ever.

Very bad experience. I came in for the after affects of my condition and had amnesia like memory loss, I couldint remember who I was or who my family was but after getting released I didn’t want to go with my family because I didn’t know them. I was taken back and they said I was faking it and it was intentional and my family was told I was doing it for attention and that they couldint go back to see me. In the back I was treated like a dog, they removed the bed and put a mattress on the floor and told me I could come out when I was willing to be truthful. I’m so glad I regained my memory and was able to recall what happened inside the er because it was god awful. After the visit i was called by someone who is knowledgeable about my conditions and the symptoms, they told me that to them they have seen amnesia plenty of times with this condition and that it’s unprofessional for the staff at the er to assume without being knowledgeable especially since they don’t specialize or work with my condition like other clinics do. The staff at the er we’re also told not to interact with me or give me attention or fall for my act. They also said I was making myself hyperventilate when I was having a panic attack on the floor. I love the staff but some doctors, nurses and mental health personal are ignorant and just assume because they haven’t seen it before. It’s humiliating and gross to be treated in such a manor and I hope they can grow and learn rather than assume and judge. My condition is very strange to me and probably to others but that does not mean I am faking. Which is so gross to acuse someone of especially when you have no clue what they are going through or going through it personally. And if someone has a condition that is caused by stress rather than a disease it does not mean it’s fake either nore does it mean it’s all in their head.

I did not feel that I was taking care of very well cuz I was hurried and it was like they were afraid to get anywhere near me and all I went in there for was an injured foot. They would not even wrap it back up for me they had me wrap it up. Thought maybe they could show me the correct way to wrap it but I guess they were too busy standing outside to care for me
