Once you start to struggle, they treat you awful. When you’re doing good, they’re very kind and cheerful and accommodating. When you start to struggle however, it’s almost like they are working against you. Also would lock me out of my apartment. Bad place. Just don’t live in their houses… esp Shaw st don’t send your kids there. The environment is much like a high school, unprofessional and uncaring/cold. Oh also if you’re in SOUND- at least in the program for young adults, they force you to see their doctors, you can’t get important meds from anyone else or they’ll stop working with you. Shady and they wouldn’t give me a supervisors number when I needed to speak to them. Took things from my apartment without telling me and when a member came for meds 1 or 2 mins late they refused to give them their meds, even though they were bawling their eyes out, ptsd triggered and clearly distressed. Very neglectful. One staff member, Lauren, trashed a room so bad, that they have to create a whole new set of protocols for room checks. Priceless property was destroyed and there is yet to hear an apology. this individual has allegedly stolen multiple items of clothing and other items from other clients apartments. She also stole a tow zone sign, ripped it right off the ground. She didn’t wear her seatbelt, would vape in the car, my apartment, the office and in the office bathroom. She also violated HIIPA by telling me about one person having a conservator, and another member having a shelf of intimate bedroom items. Hope this helps, but anywhere else you should be good!

Update 4 sound community was investigated by the United States attnys office was found at fault and wants to pay me $750 to go away

Update 3 Federal investigators are getting involved cuz they saw all the evidence.
Update 2 now they flood the reviews trying to hide my review the case manager would call out sick the day of our appointment never did my referrals for a med Dr plain fact he didn't want to have my service dog in the car have that in a text message and I'm white

Update1 as you can see to their response, employees are making comments trying to dismiss my review I have a text message from a case manager saying I cannot come to event because of my service dog so and faya I see made. A review. She's one of the biggest problems. She's very rude. Was absolutely no help for me

They have had issues with my service dog which is actually a real service dog for my disability. A coordinator for case management is rude and she doesn't like you. She'll make sure her people don't help. You had one case manager. Allison who was good until she left. Then they gave me somebody else and he calls out sick every time he has to meet with me. And he also broke service dog law by saying that can't transport a service dog. So I will be suing them for this. Don't go here

The staff here are amazing. They take everyone and everything seriously, and are very professional. The community events and services provided here are S-tier. I've been coming to this Community center for 5 years, there have been many upgrades and changes to meet the demands and times. I would recommend this location to everyone that needs community outreach support. 10/10

I have been going to Sound Community since July of 2022. Since then I have become Client Vice President of the AXS program. I will say that there are definitely issues. However, staff are only able to control so much and do so much to fix those issues. They are trying to make it more client focused with how they have added Cabinet members for both the AXS and Oasis programs.

This place does nothing for its clients. Everyone there should be fired. If anyone give money to support them should ask for their money back. I know someone who was suspended for a week because they smelled weed coming from their direction and that person had no weed on him. They need to shut this place down or get better management who actually want to help people instead of just taking money from people and the government.

Chrystal Sparks is an excellent therapist.
Unfortunately, I will not be seeing her anymore after my experience with the staff here. Highly recommend Chrystal, however as a former patient of hers, I was hoping to follow her to her new company. When I called the office, they refused to put me through to her (as it seems she may not take my insurance anymore) and set me up with an appointment for someone who does take Anthem. I tried to leave Chrystal a voicemail but was told since I am set up with a new provider “it would be inappropriate for me to reach out to her”. I’m very excited to cancel my appointment since I was able to find care elsewhere… best of all, the new place is all virtual. For some reason, they need you to come in person for intake and I was told the staff does not wear masks. I hadn’t even gotten to my intake without feeling belittled, stifled, and as if my business is an inconvenience. Very unfortunate for good therapist to have such lousy staff being the ones to bring their business in!
