While the Dr.'s and Practitioners are excellent, the scheduling is not. I had to get an appointment to fill out ADA paperwork, something I've never required before in my entire life. I got the appointment set for this but at no point in time did anyone ever inform me that the fee for this paperwork would be a whopping $150!!! That is an insane amount of money to request on the day of the appointment with no prior notice! This ruined my entire weekend plans as I would have made educated financial decisions had I known about such a large fee and I received no apology for their inability.

today was my first visit at this office. i came from another practice in perry and was very happy with my visit. i was able to get in for an appointment as a new patient within an hour of calling about my issue. the front desk staff was very kind and professional. the nurse who took my vitals was very friendly and the NP i saw was very thorough and nice. i felt very taken care of during my visit. i would definitely recommend this practice based off of my first impression.

I love Dr. Soundappan in Perry ga, but his front office is unprofessional. I was not seen today because of a bill dated for April, 25,2021. I called and logged into my insurance portal showing the insurance had issued a full payment on April 19,2022. Billing manager stated she has not received it, that has nothing to do with me. So i was declined to see the dr that i have been under care since 2019. Long story short, you would deny service to someone for $115.00. When the office currently receives $185.00 monthly for my visits. Sadly, I have to find another Dr because I am not paying for services that has already been paid for. Same issue has happen to my fiancé they charged him 385.00 saying insurance didn’t cover for that month but u received payments for all other months. Dr. Soundappan please check on your billing dept before all of your patients are gone.

Staff answers the phone on the scheduling line are very rude and unprofessional. I understand they say the doctor is seeing patients but the could have directed me to his voicemail not his nurse. This doctor has supposed to have been taken care of my mother since March. I’ve yet to hear from or meet with him. My mother is unable to make her own decisions. She was admitted to the hospital two days ago and again no contact by the doctor. Several people from the hospital have contacted me but not the doctor. I don’t believe this is how this should have been handled. All her other doctors would have no problem calling me since I’m her care taker.
I tried to call back and get someone else but the keep letting the phone ring until the automated system picks up. Not good!

I am so grateful to have Dr. Soundappan as my doctor. I have had two very serious bouts with illnesses. There is no doubt that it was his attentiveness to my care that helped me to recover. He is so thorough in his exams and does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist. He is an excellent doctor.

I have been a patient for about ten years. Recently I was out of time for a few months and had to go to a doctor. I had numerous tests, but it was not until I saw Dr. Soundappan that my issue was identified. I think he is brilliant. He listens. He doesn’t rush your visit. He has truly helped me.

This office will not do prior authorizations for medication. If he doesn't want to do them, that's fine, but he ought not accept BCBS, nor any other insurances that might require a prior authorization once a year.

Also, he had to Google how to order a standard thyroid lab test. I wouldn't care if a doctor had to Google something that was out of the ordinary, but a standard thyroid lab code is NOT at all unusual. At the very least he should have left the room to do his googling so as not to give a bad impression.

When my vitamin d came back critically low (20/100) he did not think to provide me with a prescription for Vitamin D. I had to go back and get his nurse practitioner to do that. By the way, his nurse practitioner is EXCELLENT and should go work for a more competent practice. Otherwise she risks sullying her reputation by association.

Lastly, look at all these sketchy five star reviews he's gotten from profiles with no other review history. All were written around the same time frame. Pretty obvious they are fake.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Soundappan for almost 15 years. Dr. Soundappan has cared for me while inpatient at the hospital numerous times. He is always there checking on his patients. Dr. Soundappan genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is always helpful. Jackie is great!
