I recently visited Advanced Dental and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism. As soon as I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Smith will take the time to explain every procedure and answer any questions patiently. I highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable dentist!!

I have had many horrible dentist experiences, in the past. Thankful there are good dentist like Doctor. Hockin. I finally found a dentist genuinely doing his job to help, and care for patients needs. Rather than pushing unnecessary treatments, for highest profits. Advanced Dental implant center prices, are also amazing! All the staff was professional, kind, and helpful. Going to the dentist isn’t as scary anymore. - I highly recommend 👍

My entire family and many friends have started going here to see Dr. Smith. Everyone has a great experience, he’s very professional, kind and HONEST! Other dentists have tried to do unnecessary procedures just to make more money… Dr. Smith only does what’s needed for a happy healthy mouth… and wallet! 😉

This place was recommended to me for dental implants with dentures with Medicare/medicaid. I had existing full dentures but was hoping to improve the fit so I would have better luck with eating. The opposite was the result. I was told at the initial consultation here that having my implants placed would “take about 15 minutes and hurt less than having a tooth pulled”. I was told initially that there would be some potential remaining cost after insurance, but nobody could say what that would be. I was told my existing dentures could be adjusted to clip on to the implants.
I had received a letter from insurance stating an unused dental benefit from the previous year and brought the letter the day of my appointment.
The four implants were placed. It took longer than they said which is fine, but it was also incredibly painful. I had started a new job and scheduled appointments after, based on the expectation they’d set and I could barely talk for days. The swelling and pain was so bad that I couldn’t really even wear the dentures over them until a couple weeks later. After the implants I was told what I’d still owe. $750. That’s super easy for a single parent to come up with without notice, right?! Then to add insult to injury, when I returned, they said I actually would need to have NEW dentures made, and gave me the number to a place that quoted another $3500. So, over a year later, I still just have healing caps, not the actual proper implants, and they’re useless to me, and my implants fit worse than before. Do not recommend.

If you are looking for an unreliable dentist who will book appointments incorrectly and delay cleanings 9-10 months this is the dentist for you.

When we first started coming here in 2020 they were great. We were able to book our cleanings every six months and we were able to be seen as needed for various things that came up. Considering that all the other dentists within the Delta care network lackluster, I felt like we were set up pretty good.

In the last year and a half they booked an appointment for my teenager and then were not in the office that morning.
I scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday and they put it in their calendar for a Tuesday. Even though the card they wrote the time and day on was for Wednesday. When they called to confirm my appointment I informed them that I was scheduled for Wednesday as I would not schedule a Tuesday appointment since that is a day I work and the appointment card said Wednesday and they had to reschedule my appointment nine months later. They can't even keep to the six month cleaning schedule.
My wife went in for a cleaning and they let her know she has a cavity and told her they have been watching it for a while. Every other time she has gone in they have said her teeth are good. So they are not giving trustworthy information about her oral health.
At my last cleaning the hygienist didn't floss my teeth properly and only polished half my front teeth.
I've seen other patients private health information pulled up when I have been seated before so they don't do a good job at protecting patient privacy.
Today they called to inform us that they will no longer be contracting with our insurance so our future appointments will be canceled. Which is fine because we were planning to find a new dentist after switching dental plans during the next open enrollment period.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

If you want an attentive dentist I wouldn’t recommend this place. The dentist does not pay attention and has no bed side manner. Looks at old x rays from years ago instead of taking the time to welcome you in and take new x rays. You can definitely tell money is the priority for this dentist.

I so appreciate my dentist, Matt Hockins, Sarah, my hygienist and the great staff at Comfort Dental. I was out of town just before setting the clocks back this month. I returned to town, totally forgetting that I hadn't set them back here. I arrived at my appointment a whole hour early the next morning, and they worked me in early anyway! Dr. Hockins always does a superb job for my dental care. Thanks everyone, you're awesome!
