The actual visits were great - my review is based on the phone call I had with billing just now, asking about my price breakdown. I paid out-of-pocket for insoles and insurance was to reimburse (how mine works). The check I was sent was not the full amount, so I called billing and asked what the price difference was about. The lady started explaining, but I still didn't understand and she got more irritated the more times I had to ask her to explain - I even got an audible "oh, my gosh." I did not receive any paperwork with the check to explain, the numbers were not similar to anything I have paid with other doctors, the terminology was different, so I didn't know! She about made me cry. Yes, she sent follow up emails with the breakdown, but it still wasn't everything (for example, my co-pay isn't listed on them, so there was still some confusion). While she said she "tried to explain," she seemed irritated the more I asked and no, not everything was actually explained (until I kept asking).

This is the best podiatrist in Atlanta hands down. She helped me with two severe ankle injuries when other doctors just told me to rest. She prescribed physical therapy that changed my life and then when I had some stiffness come back was able to offer some cutting edge treatments combined with time tested treatments (insoles). She never pressured me into anything and always gave me options. She explains everything and answers all questions. The front desk is always polite. I just love going here which is weird to say but it’s a dream compared to other doctor offices. I wish everyone could get this level of care.

And she wears a n95 mask! That signaled to me that she keeps up with recent science and cares for her patients health even if it means being a bit uncomfy sometimes. And as a mask wearer, makes me feel welcome which is not always the case when I get healthcare. that’s a doctor I want to go to!

Dr. Hill is wonderful! She took all of my sports and ankle history into consideration when working with me. She suggested alternatives to surgery when other doctors had been quick to suggest surgery or simply not playing sports. The rest of the team is kind, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Annette Filiatrault was recommended to me by my GP who has been in local practice for many years. The office has professional, friendly and attentive staff. The doctor listens to you, offers alternatives and it all makes sense. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

Can’t say enough good things about my experiences there! Both doctors listen before treating, are precise in their treatment and convey a genuine interest in my comfort and recovery. The office staff is equally efficient and pleasant. It’s what medicine used to be without all the difficulties of scheduling and PAs & NPs standing in for the doctors. Simply good medicine practiced at Affiliated Foot & Ankle!

A friend recommended this practice to me after I sprained my ankle and was advised by the ER to go see a specialist. My experience with Dr. Hill and the entire staff (nurse, scheduler, office staff) was great. Dr. Hill was very thorough in her examination of my ankle and my foot and has me on my way to recovery.

I visited today spoke with Michelle at the front desk. Michelle spelled with two Ls 🙂She is super nice!! Met Dr Mistretta he was thorough and addressed all my concerns. I forgot everyone else name but they were all professional and so nice on a Friday.

Dr. Filiatrault was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and effective at treating my foot pain. She made some suggestions and gave me a solution that offered almost instant relief. Her background as an athlete gives her great insight to understand how to attend to performance minded patients. Her staff is also extremely friendly. 10/10 reccomend!
