My first impressions are, The office is clean, the staff is very friendly, I wasn't waiting long at all, & any questions I had was answered with a smile. I appreciate how Dr. Ara Chitchyan was able to make me feel comfortable from the beginning to the end of my visit. I have already & will continue to recommend Dr. Ara Chitchyan to everyone I know.

Saw Dr. Chitchyan today and I must say it warmed my heart because of how pleasant and thorough he was! The facility is nice and clean. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly and communicated with me that I would be seen shortly! Mr. Lester set the tone and Dr. Chitchyan knocked it out of the park! Donna Canady

I absolutely love American Rehabilitation Associates. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the doctors provide exceptional care, specifically Dr ChitChyan. He always makes sure to keep your best interest in mind and at heart. Highly recommended for families!

If you are a veteran and you have been scheduled to see Dr Ara Chitchyan just don't. Call Veterans Evaluation Services immediately and tell them you want to see another provider.

I can say I have never been treated more unprofessionally by a doctor in my entire life. I was scheduled to see him in regards to a claim I had made under the PACT Act. For those unfamiliar with this I am basically having a medical issue that was caused by my time in the military that I want to be evaluated. The VA sent me to him. I wish they had sent me to someone else.

I arrived at his office around 8:30 for a 9:00 appointment. I checked in with the front desk and they confirmed I was to be seen at 9:00. So I waited. Around 8:50 a member of Dr Chitchyan's staff came out and told me he was on a conference call. Okay fair enough my appointment was at 9:00. Things happen. I can wait some.

Around 9:23 I still had not been seen so I confirmed again with the secretary at the front desk that I was at the right place. She confirmed I was . She told a member of Dr Chitchyan's staff that I was still out there basically.

A member of his staff came out a few minutes later and told me Dr Chitchyan was still on his conference call and that he had only recently agreed to start seeing patients referred by Veterans Affairs. He had scheduled this call before signing up with the VA. I then asked when he would be done. I was told he did not know. I remarked that this is completely unprofessional and I will be contacting the VA about this. Am I truly expected to just wait around? I have things to do. I was then told by his staff member to " do what you are going to do" so I did. I left.

I called Veterans Evaluation Services immediately from the parking lot and explained the situation to them. I had arrived at my appointment and Dr Chitchyan was refusing to see me. The person I talked with had me repeat to her what had happened as this simply doesn't happen. They put me on hold and then called Dr Chitchyan . I do not know what they told him but after that conversation they took me off hold and I was told he would see me. Apparently his conference call could have been ended in order to be professional, but he didn't want to do that. Well he didn't want to do that for a patient because patients don't matter. I refused for reasons that should be obvious. If they are not obvious then I will spell it out. I have no reason to trust Dr Chitchyan to do a professional evaluation on me after all this.

In the end this is about professionalism. I understand sometimes doctors, despite the best of intentions, cannot see patients exactly when scheduled, things come up, often when dealing with other patients. But this was simply a scheduling conflict that was caused by Dr Chitchyan agreeing to be a VA service provider and having an already scheduled conference call. All he had to do was reschedule things. Instead of doing the right thing he wanted to keep a patient waiting indefinitely . Instead of telling the person on the conference call he has another obligation to fulfill and we can discuss this later he decided to keep a patient waiting indefinitely .

So I had to reschedule this examination with another doctor. I will have to take another day off work. And I can do all this. But for other veterans it is not so easy. They have jobs with inflexible work schedules. Some of them have to arrange transportation. They deserve to have their time respected in the end.

So again if you are a veteran and you have been scheduled to see Dr Ara Chitchyan just don't. Call Veterans Evaluation Services immediately and tell them you want to see another provider.

I visited the office and was greeted with clean environment and friendly staff. The Dr. Chitchyan provided a clear explanation of what my issue is and some positive rehabilitation recommendations for treatment. Dr. C also provided some understanding with some other health related problems. I recommend anyone checking him out and experience the wealth of knowledge he has.

ARA was extremely detailed and has great bedside manners. Ara took the time to come up with a plan of action to heal my body. I was so excited when he shared information regarding recycling my blood to help
heal my pain areas. I look forward to the treatment plan that he has been in place for my body and situation. Ara, truly cares about the work he is doing and his patients.
