I was very disappointed in our follow up appointment today. The initial cost was $250 for literally a 5 min appointment. The doc was great so I decided it was money well spent for my daughter. I was told that the follow up appointment would be included in the initial cost of the $250 but they did want to see her back in two weeks. We go in for the following appointment and was charged an additional $70! When I was explaining that was not the information given when booking the staff became absolutely rude and disrespectful! Would not recommend going unless you want to be charged extra and be treated rudely!

Was told it would be75. When checking out 103. They filed insurance for 256. They said if I had told them not to file insurance it would have been 75. Of course didn't find that out until a month later. Beware of them

First off, in making an appointment, I was told I had a balance due from a visit over 7 years ago, in which a bill was never sent. On arrival, I asked to see a breakdown of the bill. They said there was a problem on their end when switching over to a new system and that I was lucky I didn't get a bill. Fortunately I had kept records and receipts of this visit, as THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS ALREADY PAID!! They gave me a meek apology. I have to wonder how many patients they try to do this to and what other sketchy accounting/business practices they have.
My main concern in going was to have a problem removed with minor surgery. This has worked great in the past with another podiatrist, in which pain was relieved and the problem gone. I was coming here because they were within my network of insurance. I asked them prior to making an appointment if Dr. Herron did this type of procedure and they said yes. When visiting with the doctor, he said he does not do this, and proceeded to do topical things that I could have done myself at home. I left with no pain relief and the problem remained. I kick myself because after the fact I recall that that visit years ago went about the same, and that is why I had found another doctor.
I do worry others may be getting inadequately helped, ripped off or charged incorrectly, hence this review as a potential warning.

I took my 11 year old in (I was referred by his pediatrician). We did have to wait 30 minute (be prepared), but the doctor was wonderful. The office staff was friendly. I was impressed at how knowledgeable the doctor was! He looked at my son's feet and immediately knew how he was walking (wrong). He made some inserts to go in his show. Unless I get a crazy bill later, I can say that I paid less than I was expecting. It was such a pleasant experience.

First of all, it was clean, and everyone was nice. However, I agree with another poster about the upsell. I went in for suspected bone spurs and concern about maybe a stress fracture. I was told they don't do x-rays (unnecessary). I got a foot massage with the fancy lotion. It didn't smell great to me; I got a small sample instead of buying it. I can't tell any difference between the sample and over-the-counter Voltaren gel as far as efficacy. I did purchase the suggested insoles/inserts. They were okay at first in my old tennis shoes, but as two weeks passed, my feet hurt much, much worse than before the inserts! I tried them in several different shoes, and that was no better. Finally, I just bought a new pair of tennis shoes and didn't use the inserts. Instant relief! I did not return.

Had a ingrown toenail removed. It's been over a month & my toe is still recovering; it got badly infected. I've now gone through 3 different antibiotics & another exam at a different facility resulting in more money wasted. I've missed 4 days of work total. It currently hurts to wear my work boots... This is not normal & this is the direct result of the procedure I had there.... I've had a ingrown toenail removed once before at a different facility & I had zero issues!

This experience was just not pleasant for me at all. I didn't have to wait for very long, however the doctor came in and asked me about the issues with my ingrowns, I told him which toe bothered me the most and then he just started hacking away at them. I didn't get any introduction so I'm not even sure who I saw. I personally like being told what is going to be done before its done and I didn't get any explanation. He focused more on my left toe even though I said the right one bothered me the most. Its been approximately 2 weeks since then and the ingrown on my right toe is still bothering me, so I didn't even get it fixed. Pretty much a waste of time and money in my experience.
