Came for an urgent care visit and everyone was friendly and helpful. Once checked in, the give an approximate appointment time, but I was seen much sooner. Stephen Burton, PA was easy to talk to and seemed thorough.

I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.

We made some VERY LARGE life decisions for my daughter based on what Dr. Katz's staff told us only to be met with that not being correct.

This man has cost my daughter 1 full semester of her Junior year off of their continuous incompetence.

We are more than frustrated, disappointed and feel we've been FAILED by this medical office.

They couldn't get the prior authorizations correct, no communication, zero follow ups, and good luck if you get anyone to actually answer the phone.

** Update: (1/23/25)
— I had removed this review on my own accord hoping to switch physicians to someone we felt would provide better care and I was sent this email stating that I needed to remove my reviews to be considered for my daughter to receive the basic care we were seeking. That did not sit well with me from a compliance stand point and I immediately made a phone call to another office that was suggested to me by a family friend that is a Physical Therapist.

The new practice was most accommodating and saw my daughter on the same day and had her MRI handled same day. (Aka - efficient!) What took months of headache and frustration was completed in a 20 minute visit. We found the bedside manner of the new physician was superb! The new physician also informed me that Athens Ortho should have NEVER asked my daughter to complete weeks of Physical Therapy as it wouldn’t have helped her clinical case what so ever. So we were taken advantage of for billable hours on PT and treated like third rate citizens - when this was a very simplistic case of a ganglion cyst.

Save yourself the trouble and seek care elsewhere.

I was in horrible pain for 3 years. Dr Mohoney and His nurse Hope are awesome. I had seen numerous Doctors and he was the only one that listen to me and now I'm pain free. His PA Bryan is great also wonderful place.

I used the urgent care at Athens Orthopedics in Loganville Ga. I was so pleased with every aspect of this visit. From the moment I walked into this beautiful building until I walked out, everything was perfect. The check in was quick and efficient. The young lady that helped me was so sweet and kind. I arrived at 8:05 and was having X-rays within minutes. The X-ray tech was also kind and very knowledgeable. I saw Stephen, one of the PA’s and found him to be very caring and he listened to my problems and quickly came up with a plan to get ball rolling. I was back in my car and leaving by 9:00. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing orthopedic care.

We used the AOC Urgent Care Loganville one late afternoon. I was surprised that they took us in that late. After filling out the paperwork, they brought us right back. My son got an X-ray and saw the PA immediately. The PA treated my son with care and concern. I’m so happy that I didn’t have to take my son to the ER. We had no wait time and service was personal. I would highly recommend AOC.

I am thankful to have such a wonderful orthopedic practice nearby! I have multiple children in sports, so we have made a few trips to the walk-in clinic. The staff is friendly and organized. The doctors are fantastic. The wait time has been reasonable every time. I highly recommend!

Karl is very thorough in his interviewing of patients and his examinations. He takes his time to explain things and makes sure you are confident in their approach to your care.
