I have been under Charles Holman's care for about 6 months now. One of the major issues I saw him for was heart concerns. I had a heart attack about 17 years ago and, since then, I could always "feel" my heart. I would get random palpitations and a buzzing feeling in my chest. After only a few treatments, the feelings have disappeared! To me, this is a huge accomplishment and relief! My medications never addressed this issue, and now I don't have anxiety and worry like I used to. Charles has helped me with many other issues and now my husband is a patient as well. I have had the opportunity to work with Charles Holman of Bear Creek Healing Arts for some acute symptoms, as well as long term health conditions that were treated by prescription medications over many years by my MD. Charles Holman is thorough in assessing the treatment regimen needed utilizing Accupuncture. Having been on a prescription medication for 20+ years, there was uncertainty that treatment with Accupuncture would have any success in getting me off of my medication. At this time I am not taking it! I can't say enough good things about Charles, and Bear Creek Healing Arts!!!!!!

After years of frustrating health issues and no resolution from traditional medical people, I started searching for answers. When one of my pups was receiving Kinesiology from her Veterinarian and I switched her diet to plant-based homemade food, I noticed a huge improvement in her health conditions, and asked if the alternative approach worked for humans and was told YES! So, while I was searching for available practices to provide the kinesiology on me, I stumbled upon Charles Holman at the Evergreen Home show. After this initial meeting, my learning curve went vertical!
In just 5 short weeks, he was able to help me identify the root cause of many issues on my lengthy list, as well as some unknown things through his Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture techniques at the Bear Creek Healing Arts business in Kittredge. Our goal--get me off of all meds!
Traditional medicine identified me as having Seborrhea dermatitis on my scalp; Charles determined that I was allergic to all the shampoos I had been using. I also found out I was overly sensitive/allergic to all chemicals and fragrances. Following his recommendations, I replaced my cleaning supplies for kitchen, laundry, and personal care products to clean, no fragrance versions and have seen a huge difference in my environment and scalp. I was tested and treated for trees and pollen, then specifically for those surrounding my home--Pine, Juniper, and Aspen [Cottonwood]. This allowed me a much-improved breathing situation, which has reduced my oxygen requirement almost in half to zero [despite a small hole in my heart...PFO].
Charles also identified my insulin resistance and hypoglycemia, just shy of diabetes. He recommended a better diet of more plant-based whole foods, no dairy, low sugar; the result? I finally came off of my 3+ month plateau of trying to lose weight, and now the pounds are melting off. I wake up energized and rarely wish I had coffee [which I am also allergic to]. I’m confident that my cholesterol is currently plummeting with this diet.
My thyroid was not working properly, as well other hormones, which will be treated shortly.
With all of these improvements, I have been researching and educating myself and have found that Charles is totally on target with the diet and methods that I now use--no processed foods, greatly reducing GMOs and other secret ingredients, detoxing my home and environment. I am confident that Charles will succeed in achieving the goals of eliminating medicines and finding the root cause for every single issue I have.
If you are having medical issues that are stealing your joy for life, I highly recommend you see Charles to help you on your health journey so you can enjoy your life more fully again; especially if traditional medicine yielded nothing more than a bandage approach. For me, these alternative healings has been a tremendous blessing to me!
