Update 12-4-24: I would strongly advise NO ONE ever having this surgery. I'm still experiencing severe pain from it. An orthopedic foot surgeon told me I have permanent nerve damage. I cannot wear any type of shoe without severe pain. The name "minimally invasive" is very misleading. It is done by viewing an x-ray where there is great risk to damaging nerves. I wish so badly I could go back in time and never have sought out this doctor.

Worst experience in my life. I went in to see Dr. Middleton for pain at the base of my second toe. I was led to believe that a bunion surgery would help the pain. I underwent the surgery which also ended up with a surgery on my second toe. I have no idea why the second toe surgery was performed.

My foot is much worse off now than before my surgery. Refer to pics. Now my second toe sticks up higher than my big toe. When I stand or walk, the second toe wants to overlap my big toe now. My foot still has the bunion and my big toe still points towards my smaller toes. I'm in worse pain now than previous to surgery.

During consultation, we (my husband was present at all appointments) were told that I could be put to sleep for the surgery. When I arrived for surgery, the nurse told me they don't put people to sleep.

When I mentioned to him that I was unhappy about my surgery, he got very defensive. He gaslighted me saying my pain was in my head. He said I shouldn't have any pain unless there was redness or swelling.

I found out from an orthopedic doctor that I have an old fracture at the base of my toe. That's the cause of my pain.

This was the most painful surgery I have ever. I've had a C-section, hysterectomy, etc. to compare. I was not able to leave my bedroom for 2 weeks from the pain and not being able to walk.

Please beware. I feel like (my opinion) that he just wanted to make money from a bunion surgery. I was charged for two separate surgeries for some reason. And he began charging me for the bunion surgery follow-ups which should have been included in the price of the surgery.

The entire staff is friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Dr Middleton ‘s surgery center is reminiscent of a center where celebrities or the ultra wealthy might receive treatment because care is so meticulous and personalized.

Dr. Middleton & staff are awesome! Super pleased with results of my foot surgery that I had been putting off for years because I was scared of the pain I’d be in afterwards. One foot surgery later we have not had any wound s or issues with his feet n over a year. A simple corrective foot surgery that was non invasive and required little time off has litterally changed Jim's life we are so thankful we found him.

Not so sure a good service is what this office provides. My results from agonizing surgery and recovery was a failed attempt to correct hammer toes. Dr. Middleton said he fixed it and nothing changed. They seemed more concerned about getting their copays than to provide successful results. If you want 22 shots in your foot to deaden it then come here.
