Immediately felt at ease with her staff.
Dr. CALZADA showed empathy and genuine concern over my issues. She was able to quickly review past imaging and reassured me that I was doing well. I came to see her for a 2nd opinion after 2 surgeries that caused migraines for 2 years and no one could help me. I was relieved at how smart and efficient she was with me and plan to follow up in 6 months. Highly recommended this practice.

My friend has had surgery here twice and this place is beyond professional! Staff here is on point. Quick and detail oriented to say the least. 5 STARS, hands down. Let these Doctors take care of your ears, nose and throat needs. You cant go wrong with California Head and Neck Specialists

If I could give a Negative review I would. Dr. Mehta had an assistant hold my head down with force against the exam bed to keep it still while he inserted a large needle-like metal tube into my ear to suck out fluid. It was SO INCREDIBLY PAINFUL my entire body and head were shaking uncontrollably- AND that is why his assistant had to hold my head down with such force!! Obviously he did not use enough anesthetic spray into my ear before performing a procedure that required sticking a huge metal needle into a live person's ear while they are fully awake. Torture!! I switched to Dr. Audrey and she was not professional. She had me do the same expensive Audiology booth tests as they repetitively and routinely require of patients, even though I had very recently done twice. NEVER has an ENT doctor before in my experience done this. I did not have to pay for them, but my insurance company did. I called my insurance company and let them know everything. Worst, WORST experience at medical facility/group ever!!!

For Years and years.
As long as I can recall, it's been years seen I have been able to breathe as I am Now.
It may sound corny but I can really smell the Flowers this time. The Ocean breeze, The wet ground after a first rain. My daughters cooking.
Yes it's been a long time.
Don't know when it happened, or why it happened. I'm blaming 16 years of football, as a center and linebacker. Hit after hit, The mentality, it's just part of the sport. But it was not part of what I wanted for me in the long run, something got damaged in there. Could not breathe catch my breath. But I'm thankful that I found Dr. Danthia Vishal and California Head & Neck Specialist. Here in Carlsbad.
Well knowledge on my issue. The surgery was fast and well planned. Dr. Banthia splendid all the steps that he would be processing during The Operation and what issues may occur after the operation. That was great news to my family, reassuring that I was going to be fine.
Weeks later as I see Dr. Banthia for my last visit post - OP. I feel great, I can breathe my energy levels are enormous, I'm sleeping 7 - 8 hrs a night. I don't struggle to catch my breath, I'm not breathe through my mouth. You can say that I can smell The Flowers and The Ocean breeze ones more it's awesome.

Absolutely terrible experience. Dr Banthia was my surgeon on Tuesday and my follow up appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, this Friday. Not only did I not receive a check-in call since the surgery, I have been unable to get ahold of him or anyone else over the last 48hrs. The pain is excruciating, I'm uncertain about my post operation cleanings I've been doing and if I'm doing them correct, and the stents are supposed to come out tomorrow with "mild pain". I can't even touch my nose without a jolt of pain so not sure how that's supposed to work.... the office uses an answering service that passes a message along and requests 72hrs for a response. If you're looking for terrible communication and 0 patient service, this is the place for you.

The worse experience of my life. Dr. Tian didn’t put me to sleep I was screaming of pain for the entire time. My body was shaking. She refused to give pain meds.Dr. Tian suggested Tylenol. She didn’t give clear post op instructions. I was in pain. I was so uncomfortable for a week without any follow ups from the doctors office. I left several messages and emails it took the office three days to respond. My sister had to take vacation days from her work to care for my children as I was miserable. I don’t recommend this office for Latera surgery.
