This place is a nightmare. I wish I would of looked at the reviews before wasting my time and coming. They are rude unprofessional and honestly I couldn’t tolerate them. I left out after getting my copay back. Save yourself the headache from going there. I was referred by my doctors office and when I see my Dottie again I will have to politely tell him don’t send anyone else there. Worse doctor experience in my 33 years of life. Never again couldn’t pay me to go back!

Dr. Lako and his staff are great. They are very aware of pain and discomfort that you may be having and, probably most of all, listen. I never had to sit in the waiting room for long and the staff was always prompt and polite. Seriously, these guys did such a good job that I am no longer nervous and dreading my appointments.

Dr. Lako has been treating my foot conditions for 4 yrs. He is professional and personable, which has always put me at ease. The custom inserts worked perfectly, and I am able to exercise at a level that use to be impossible. He saw my daughter on short notice when she had an acute issue. He gained her trust with his easy nature and quick treatment so she got relief from an infection. I have recommended him to multiple friends and co-workers.

On this Thanksgiving Day, a heart felt "thanks" to Dr Lako & staff for taking such good care of me "over the years" on my feet issues...from a neuroma surgery, Zumba fracture, an abrasive surgery from being tripped and a Jones Fracture from line dancing. Each and every occurance, Dr Lako's diagnosis and methods to take care of the problem have been correct every time.
If you are reading this review to find a doctor you can trust with your care...you have found it with Dr Lako.

Dr. Lako performed a big toe fusion surgery. Very professional but personable. Made a tough situation easier to endure. After surgery had weekly visits for over 3 months. Very satisfied with my experience!

Had an appointment at 2:30 p.m. on 7/14/2017, After getting there at 2:15, signing in and waiting until 2:50, I finally got the paperwork to fill out (I was a new patient so I knew I would need to fill out paperwork). The receptionist was not friendly at all! When she called me back to the counter she told me my co-pay was $60.00, that much was true, however, I explained to her that I had met my deductible and co-pay for the year and I did not owe the co-pay. She proceeded to roll her eyes and tell me that they would have to review, she went back to talk with someone, I am assuming it was the office manager, after a few minutes she came back and said the office manager said I would have to pay the co-pay. How is this even possible, she should have just called me a liar! Why should I pay a co-pay that I do not owe, only to have them cut me a check weeks later! I need my money now, not 6-8 weeks later. I wonder if I send them a bill for my time I missed at work for this joke of a medical practice, would they pay me?.........Doubtful! Would never recommend this place to anyone!

I was visiting family in Macon and was riding a scooter after it had rained and crashed. HARD. I flipped over and landed right on my ankle. It was a really bad accident, but I thought it would be OK.. But the next day, I knew it was bad and it was getting worse. Like really worse. I thought it had to be broken, or that I would get a massive infection and that I would lose my foot. Yes, it was that bad! I called in and they gave me some advise, then I visited just to make sure. They checked me out right away and determined it was not broken and it was just a bad sprain. I felt like these people really cared about helping me and making me feel comfortable. I disagree with the other reviews and would recommend these guys to my friends and family. 5 stars!
