Dr McElroy is a good Dr for Elder care and I would highly recommend HIM. However his office staff is probably the worst I have had to deal with in any Dr's office I have ever had contact with. Just in the past Month I have had someone hang up on me, not have the proper information on a supplement recommendation in the chart, and have had to call 3 times to follow up and have a prescription sent out (was never sent out the first two times even though they said it was). They have failed to call back for over 48 hours, not only to me but our in home care nurse. Great Dr but Horrible office staff.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. McElroy for approximately 5 years. What an awesome Doctor he is. He has a "great bedside manner" and explains things in lay terms. Have never had any issues with his superior Nursing staff or getting in contact with Dr. McElroy either through his office of My Chart. My wife and I both are grateful for him, his knowledge and his compassion.

Doctor McElroy and his office staff are amazing. Doctor McElroy takes the time to listen and really cares about your heath and well being. I am very happy with him and his staff. Shanesia is very pleasant on the phone and called me right back when I needed her assistance. I will recommend this office to all my friends and family. Thank you for being awesome !

I like my doctor, Dr Christian, but running into a problem
With his staff and scheduling. Doctor told me to see him Feb. I used the website
to request an appointment mid morning, but I need mid morning.
, because I travel 80 miles from St Simons. Also requested a script
to give a blood test before the appointment send to me so I
have the test on St Simons.
I receive a text advising me I have a 8:00 am appointment, no mention of blood test script.
I text them to cancel the appointment. I need an appointment later
On any day. I need a script.
Heard nothing.
Called scheduling. Made my requests. Advised will tell nurse.
I complain. I get a text. Call scheduling.
I am trying to get ahold of the practice manager.
I can only hope this will resolve my problem

If I could leave "0" stars, I would. The office staff is more difficult to work with than Comcast/Xfinity on their worst day. When I call to speak with medical staff (MD or nurse) no one answers the line. They just let the phone ring, and ring, and ring, until you give up. When you finally do get through, they are more than short and curt with you. They have no compassion and are real quick to point the finger at you or anyone else. Regardless of how competent the medical staff might be, I would never refer anyone to this office for the lack of respect and over all professionalism.

If you have any option for medical services other than this place take it. In my 5 month experience with this facility, I 1) was mistakenly referred to a urologist instead of the neurologist I needed, 2) was told by the appointments nurse that I could not make an appointment with my primary care physician and then later told by this physician that he "could not control his staff", 3) spent endless hours on hold trying to get an appointment, have billing question answered, get a referral, etc and 4) was double billed for services. This facility and its employees are a disgrace to medicine and also, I suspect, actively involved in defrauding insurance companies and patients. Like I said, if you have any choice, including a witch doctor, take it over this place.

Memorial afternoon staff in Day Surgery is rude, lazy, and ineffiecent.They would rather talk with other employees than meet and assist with patients families. So not surprised.. as per usual memorial keeps it stellar inefficient staff. Thanks UMR insurance that we can only use this hospital.

Very difficult to get timely appointments and pick up refills for prescriptions. This used to be a top notch medical facility with efficient administration. But it makes me want to consider another practice.
