Dr. Heather is so kind and caring! I broke my ankle last year, and have had trouble with a dang ingrown nail ever since. Dr. Heather is so great. She has helped treat my ingrown nails without causing extra pain. She’s personable and friendly and explains everything she does (and distracts me from what she’s doing when needed!). I’m disappointed to have moved out of the area but if I’m ever back I will absolutely be back here if needed!

I recently visited Dr. Brendon and came away quite impressed. I've used several podiatrists in the past and Dr. Brendon was far and away the best. I checked on his academic background / clinical experience and he is one of most certainly qualified doctors (of all specialties) I've seen. He's a very bright guy.

The office is nicely furnished and in a convenient location in south Pinellas county. His receptionist, "Meg", was most welcoming on the phone and in the office. I was also impressed with the professionalism shown by his nurse "Jess" (I understand there are two of them).

All-in-all I can say I've finally found a doctor to take care of my all podiatric needs.

I had a big toe that was looking infected and a very painful ingrown nail for about a week. Had an appointment with my pedicurist to fix, however she had to cancel yesterday. I did not have a podiatrist, so starting calling around to see if anyone could schedule or squeeze me in. The kind and caring front desk gal at Coastal scheduled me for the next afternoon. I was grateful but even more so when she called back about an hour later and asked if I could be there by 3:20 PM. Dr Brendon Zelna treated, took out large piece of nail and did the procedure which prevents from having future ingrown nails. I was pain free immediately and have now found my podiatrist if ever needed in the future. He and his staff did not disappoint. Thank you !!

Dr Heather is seriously one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I wish she was a primary care so I could see her more often and not just when I have a toe issue! She is so nice, fun and easy to talk to, and she treats her patients like people. I had to get an ingrown toenail removed, which involved lidocaine shots in between my toes, and she made what would have been an awful experience as pleasant as possible. Everyone in the office is amazing as well. Go see her!

My in-laws were long-term patients of Dr. Heather Zelna and thought the world of her. I too think the world of her after becoming a patient in 2019 when she operated on my big toe that was overcome with arthritis, had no cartilage and was all bone on bone. She restored my toe to new by inserting a metal plate and doing whatever else was necessary to eliminate the bone on bone pain I was experiencing. Dr. Heather is a top-notch doctor. Last Thursday (9/29/22) I slipped and broke my ankle badly in three places. Went to see Dr. Heather the next day after being in the ER (she fit me in) and she recommended a highly specialized ankle and foot trauma surgeon because of the severity of the three bone breaks and tissue damage. She contacted the surgeon and I was able to quickly get an appointment and am now scheduled for surgery this coming Monday! Dr. Heather also went out of her way to get me quick access to a knee scooter, which is by far the easiest way to get around on level ground. So very thankful for all her efforts. In addition to being an outstanding doctor all the way around, Dr. Heather is very caring and very tuned into her patients. Just look at all her reviews. I'm a patient for life!

I am a 56 year old triathlete and recently started having issues of pain in my right foot. My primary referred me to Coastal Foot and Ankle and I couldn't be happier that she did....
My initial call, to schedule my appointment, was taken by "Meg", and Meg HAS to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is polite, kind and awesome at her job!!!
My x-ray technician, "Kelly" was also just as polite, kind and awesome doing her job. I could tell these people cared about my well-being! ?
Finally I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Heather. I had the most informed conversation about my foot, my training, and my problems with my foot with Dr. Heather, that I walked out of there with such confidence and appreciation! Thanks Dr. Heather for educating me!
