It was a great pleasure working with Hilary Booco! She is a very professional and knowledgeable speech pathologist. The program she used helped me a lot to deal with my post-concussion syndrome. Every session she was always keen on hearing about my struggles and progress, and she tailored the exercises according to my individual needs. She was also taking into account the challenges I faced doing my job as an interpreter. The methods she used and taught me were very effective to help me deal with short term memory problems and word finding ability. I especially liked the exercises focusing on attention issues. I highly recommend working with Hilary and Colorado Brain Recovery and Concussion Clinic in general!

When I was first referred to the concussion clinic, I wasn't sure if I would ever fully recover. From the moment I arrived, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The front desk welcomed me each time, fostering an uplifting environment that made a challenging situation easier to handle. The treatment I received was exceptional—I could tell that each provider genuinely cared about my health and recovery. I felt welcomed and was given great information and treatment, which ultimately helped me regain my cognitive function to pre-concussion levels. It has been a while since I've been to the clinic, but the care I received there was amazing. I suffered a concussion and the symptoms wouldn't go away after months of trying to recover on my own. Even 4 months after my injury, I couldn't go up a flight of stairs without my head starting to pound.

Everyone in the front office is so nice and welcoming and the entire vibe of office is calm and healing. Though I only met with her once, Dr. Reitz was great and reassured me that I would be ok. I worked extensively with Jessica, one of the PTs on staff. I can't express how much she helped in my recovery. The exercises she assigned help me regain confidence in my recovery, and she always knew when the right time was to level up, or push me slightly further in physical exercise. When I was nearing the end of my concussion treatment, she even helped me with a few knocks/injuries unrelated to my concussion. She helped me get back on the right path and I even recovered to a better physical fitness level than before my concussion occurred.

If you've suffered a concussion, don't hesitate to go to Colorado Concussion Clinic. They will meet you where you're at post injury and help you get back to full health or more.

The doctor herself is phenomenal and outstanding. She's very sympathetic and empathetic. The front staff however is a completely different story. You would think that dealing with people with head injuries they wouldn't be so rude and snappy. I was scolded for calling in twice in a day to check if they sent a prescription out or not just to be told on the SECOND call that she isn't in on Mondays. I called back on Tuesday to check if they had sent it in and it took the THIRD time calling in for them to tell me it takes 3 business days for a refill request to get to the doctor and then to the pharmacist. Everytime I went to talk, the young woman on the phone cut me off again with another fact to support me not calling and "bothering" them anymore. Very insane healthcare tactics. Thank you for encouraging me to find concussion help elsewhere

I continue to highly recommend this holistic clinic. I wish I was was referred to the Colorado Concussion Clinic from the beginning of my injury. Their support and education was beyond valuable. Their therapists and physician are all located in the same office which makes it convenient. Plus, they always communicated immediately with each other, which in turn, significantly assisted me in resolving my issues the same day; unlike other offices where you are waiting for days and hoping for communication to occur between them in exact detail.
