I've been a Connect client for several years now after finding Pilates post knee surgery. I keep going back because of how wonderful all the staff and instructors are. As my body ages I find that I seek instructors who watch alignment and correct compensations in my body, and challenge me. In addition to a variety of Pilates classes and virtual classes, Core align (aka friendly torture) is offered. Connect also has a unique offering in that they have physical therapists on site who instruct several classes and offer private PT Pilates. If you are looking for a small studio, with a well rounded offering of classes and great instructors, look no further.

Nancy Gonder is the physical therapist my daughter saw and I highly recommend her. Not only is she talented and educated in her field, but she is also friendly, caring and patient. The exercises were ones that can be done from home, any time and for as long as needed. Scheduling was easy and they were always starting and finishing on time. They have all the equipment, tools and gadgets to help heal and/or stay strong. Hope to join the Pilates classes in the future!

CLASS SIZE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Beyond loving the Connect community and quality of the teachers, it is the individual attention you get through each class that is incredibly important. With a max of 5 students in a class, an instructor will watch each student performing every move and will que individual adjustments to ensure proper form. That level of attention is a game changer.

I first tried Pilates Reformer in a large class of about 12 people. I enjoyed it. However, when I tried a class at Connect, I quickly saw the benefits of spending a couple of extra dollars per class.
If you are a new/er to Pilates, at Connect will get the attention needed to ensure proper form; the instructor will adjust as needed on an individual basis; and thus, your risk of injury is greatly diminished. If you are more experienced, your instructors will get to know your capabilities. This means they can challenge you. Whether you are experienced or a novice, you will benefit from instructors getting to know your body because they can identify when something seems off – even when you don’t realize it yourself. Yes, this happened to me.

Adding Reformer classes at Connect to my yoga practice strengthened my wonky hip. It also made me more aware of my body. Where yoga helps me get out of my head and get into flow, Pilates gets me out of my monkey mind and puts me more in tune with individual muscle groups in a way that has helped my form in yoga as well.

Game changer for my back issues! I chose Connect because I had a sense that my back issues could be resolved by strengthening my core. The problem was that most exercise made my back even more painful. Not here and not with this incredibly skilled practitioners! In fact, I am on the road to and strength after a handful of private sessions. If you have a bulging disc like me and have spent years trying chiropractors and personal coaches, this is your safe and effective path to movement without pain and with renewed strength. I cannot say enough good things about these ladies, especially the PT expertise from Carrie. If I lived in Golden, I’d be here every day. In fact, I hope to do some virtual classes to keep my strength and body posture I gained with these amazing ladies.

I had an AMAZING experience at connect! I had needling done and it was fantastic. I have had back pain in between my shoulder blades for at least a year. Right after my session I was incredibly sore, I was sure that the next day I would be even more sore. But I woke up without any soreness and felt like a new person. I could tell a difference in my posture as well as a relief in pain! The young lady working the front desk was very sweet and personable. I think her name was Mackenzie. I also got to meet the owner who was very nice. I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with their chronic pain!

The staff is excellent in all regards: Each instructor-P/T is knowledgeable, friendly/engaging, and provides superb instruction for the Pilates and Core Align classes that I take. The location and parking are easy to access. The website is easy to navigate. A great experience all around each and every time I'm there.
