I remember Dr. Murray from many many years ago. I was in high school when I had surgery and I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Murray as my surgeon. I looked him up to see if he was still in the Albany area. Unfortunately, he isn’t but his services are worth the drive. He was an amazing person/surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Looking for a surgeon? Look no further. What an incredible surgeon and human being! A wonderful bedside manner does not encompass all I want to convey. I am truly thankful he was the on-call surgeon when I needed an emergency procedure. He is one of those people that can put a smile on your face by entering the room. While in the hospital, I never felt like he was just doing his rounds when he came in. Warmth, tenderness, caring, and compassion flow from him. I felt like I gained a trusted friend. I won't remember the surgeries, but the incredible care I received at his hands. Thanks also to all the staff, and especially Wendy and Dr. Craig for bending over backwards to arrange my surgery at the hospital I was most familiar with.

What a wonderful Doctor. He explains everything to your understanding drawing diagrams, etc. even explains what to expect after your procedure. Perfect bedside manner and very professional. So pleased I chose Dr. Murray to do my surgery. If I need a General surgeon again I will definitely know who to call.

He listened to my complaints, asked questions about my pain, explained the problems I'm having by drawing diagrams, covered the procedure he will use and he answered my questions and my husband's questions kindly, courteously and with compassion. Dr, Murray's assistant, Vickie, was also very efficient and caring when she gave me instructions for surgery and other information.

My experience with Dr. Murray was overwhelming positive. He was very kind and
attentive, and I believe he will be the best
surgeon to perform my surgery. However,
I also believe that the response to the "opioid
crisis" is flawed and inappropriate when patients with legitimate needs are prevented
from receiving necessary pain management
because of the abuses of a few. I have been in
pain for five weeks since my injury, and will be
in pain for two weeks more until my scheduled surgery. That's not my physician's
fault, but the responsibility of legislators who's
actions are the very epitome of "The Law of
Unintended Consequences."
