My Name is Susan, I had a spinal fusion with vertebrae reconstruction of my L5,S1 and fused to my Sacrum.
For 10 years I was in incredible pain, the last 5 years I couldn't pick up my feet to walk.
Dr Barba, worked a miracle on me!
The day after surgery, I was heal toe walking, like I never had a problem!
Thank you Dr Barba, your my Hero, Thank you Dr. Chang, Thank you Dr. Lee. Thank you to the Sweet gentleman that hard wired my brain electrodes to make sure I wouldn't be paralyzed. Dr Barba has been a life saver. The discs in my back and neck are self fusing which leads to severe back and neck pain. He has helped tremendously with the pain without surgery! I am able to ride my horse for long rides (8+miles) again thanks to his help. I am grateful beyond words. I have not had any problems with referrals. The phone wait time to make appointments is sometimes long, but that isn’t what’s important. What is important is the excellent care I receive from Dr Barba for my back. I highly recommend him.

Problems with referrals all the time, Problems with prescriptions. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in this office. So many problems over the years.

Went in with my sister, and we both felt very rushed and he did not give us any time to ask questions! He was basically out the door while I was talking. He was very short and left no room for detailed explanations. It was very obvious that he was in a hurry. My sister felt that he “shrugged” off her condition & made her feel unheard. He DIDNT CARE to learn about her symptoms!! He was recommending treatment before even knowing how often, how long, and how bad her pain is!! How can you recommend treatment before knowing whats going on with your patient Front desk employees were rude. Long phone call wait times. Overall it seems the staff and providers do not care. Definitely a ‘get patients in and out asap’ kinda office.

I am broken now...
To anyone who suffers from ANY intestinal illness, you may want a second or even 3rd opinion before deciding on lumbar fusion. But I strongly recommend definitely NOT going through with the surgery. If you don't have to have surgery- don't do this!
This surgery I had in 2021, not a day goes by that I don't regret it. Dr Barba permanently damaged me (caused severe complications), and this back pain is even worse- causing more pain.

Dr. Barba performed my lower back surgery repairing my two damaged disks. All my negative symptoms disappeared by the time I woke up. He reminds me of the smartest kid in school. He is an awesome surgeon. I am now doing powerlifting.
