Arrived 15 minutes before appointment time. Waited for an hour and when I asked when we would be seen, we were told”he is running late and he will get to you when he can.” The staff was impolite and inconsiderate. With no idea of when we would be seen, we left. As a fellow physician who has been in practice for almost 40 years, I would never allow patients to be treated like this. At least give a polite update or the option to reschedule. And don’t be offended when a patient who has waited an hour asks when they will be seen.

Dr Valbueno is great. The office staff not so much. I had an appointment and when I got there they told me I was not scheduled they wanted my appointment card. I didn’t have my card with me and they wouldn’t see me.
I returned home and the card was for the date and time that I was there.
I wouldn’t be so upset except the office manager told the receptionist “I wish these people would get their appointments right”.
I was right!!!
I won’t ever go back.

Great bedside manner. Explained everything thoroughly. I opted for a surgical fix. I was able to to call the answering service on a Saturday morning and Dr Valbuena returned my call within 2 minutes of me hanging up! I am now 3 week post op and am healing well and pain free.I will be scheduling a procedure for the other foot in a couple months.

I saw Dr. Valbuena just yesterday at his Savannah office. First time ever seeing a podiatrist....I had an ingrown toenail that needed to get taken care of, after messing with it myself for several weeks. Dr. Valbuena was great, very personable and easy to talk to! Both he and his staff were very friendly and attentive....true professionals! Highly recommend!

Recently saw Dr. Valbuena for an ingrown toenail. I thought everything went well and was prescribed medication to help with the infection until I was able to come in for surgery. Less than 24 hours after taking the medication my foot worsened dramatically and I had to go to an Urgent Care as I was leaving for a trip and they couldn’t get me in. I find out that the medication prescribed wasn’t even proper Antibiotics nor the proper dose. The Urgent Care doctor had to drain the infection due to how bad it was and wondered why this podiatrist didn’t drain it upon seeing it since it was so bad. The office also didn’t run my insurance, still charged me a copay, and then was sent another bill in the mail for $300. Definitely won’t be going through them for surgery. Waste of my time and far from professional.

Dr. Valbuena is an amazing person with a sense of humor as well. He explains everything in English so that you will understand and the staff is helpful also. Big shout out to Heather she goes above and beyond for her patients. Thanks Dr. V.
