One of the worst doctors and doctor offices in the South Bay. She is my PCP for the last 8 months for me and my wife, yet we have not had a single appointment where we could discuss our needs.
I have called them at least 25 times in the last 2 weeks, it never goes through. They ask you to email them with your details but don’t even provide an email address. Doctors are meant for emergencies and if you’re having a hard time, let alone impossible, just to connect and make an appointment, it’s not worth it.

My 2 cents would be to avoid this office and doctor and just go with someone who’s reachable. You’re welcome.

I had my first new patient evaluation May 2019. I have excellent insurance with no deductible. I’ve just received a bill for $170 almost one year later !
This office is very disorganized. I hope Dr R can find better support staff because she seems like a good physician.

I highly recommend Dr Ram as a primary care Doctor and encourage others to explore the Ayurveda Practice available within her office. Dr Ram offers a whole approach to health and wellness that I have never experienced before in medicine. Most recently I completed an Ayurvedic energy cleanse that dramatically benefited me in mind, body and spirit. Dr Leena and Shubada guided me through and I can not write enough positive words about this experience. I will absolutely be doing this again and obtaining additional services. I feel the Ayurveda practices available at Dr Ram's office have truly opened a door to healing, prevention, improved mobility and overall quality of life.

My husband and my daughter are Dr. Ram’s patients. They both like her style of taking care of patients. The clinic also has very serene atmosphere. We feel so relaxed. She also believes in alternative medicine. She is very open to Ayurveda which makes me feel more comfortable.

Dr. Deepa Ramachandran is a truly exceptional Family/Internal Medicine doctor. She is a fresh breath of warmth, empathy and professionalism in an often cold impersonal profession. When I was initially looking for a new family practitioner, several medical professionals told me of this friendly knowledgeable doctor who recently started her new practice in the area. She was accepting new patients so I made an appointment to see her and basically interview her. Immediately upon meeting her, I knew there was no need for any type of interview. She was kind, personable, warm, sensitive, dedicated, knowledgeable and skilled. She was everything that I was looking for in a doctor and she has never disappointed.

When I made my initial appointment with Dr. Ramanchandran, she was my only option based on my HMO policy. However I decided to stay with her even when my policy changed to PPO due to her exceptional kind and caring attitude, professionalism, warmth and openness. She takes the time to listen to you, and respects and works with you to keep you off drugs, and is totally open to complementary treatments.

Doctor Ramachandran otherwise known as Dr Ram is one the best doctors I have ever encountered. I am almost 60 years old and I have been with Dr. Ram for 6+ years and I could not be happier with her knowledge, compassion, availability, most of all I like that she truly cares for me and shows it every time I see her. She wants the best solution to my problem not just my money. I could not be happier and I am not easy to please. I would recommend her to anyone.

First things first, I will say that Dr. Ram is very nice and I wish her care was better so that I could leave her a good review but a nice personality does not outweigh the how awful my experience has been.

1. If you are a new patient, be prepared to schedule two appointments. For some reason, you can't have a physical done without having a pre-appointment before the physical. If you have decent health care, then your co-pay won't be high but if this is a concern beware.

2. She does not have a in office lab. This means that you have to go through LabCorp and pay an additional fee for your lab work. This would be fine, however, she forgot to order all my bloodwork. I specifically asked her to order an STD panel with my regular bloodwork. When I came back for my follow up appointment to review my bloodwork (which I still don't understand why this couldn't have been done over the phone to avoid an additional co-pay), I asked about the results of the panel. She told me she forgot to order it which meant I had to return to LabCorp and pay another $70+ to get tested. LabCorp notified me that she had received my results but DAYS went by with no call from her in regard to the results. There is also a delay on LabCorp's site between when they send your results to your doctor and when you the patient can view them. Once I was able to view my results, I had to, through my own understanding and Google searches, interpret them mostly on my own. I called her office to find out why they hadn't followed up and her receptionist informed me that THEY WAIT UNTIL YOU THE PATIENT CALLS ABOUT THE RESULTS and they could take up to 48 hours to get back to you.

3. She did a pap in office, when she initially called me to discuss the results she gave me one piece of information and then a few days later called back and said that actually what she told me initially was wrong.

4. When I finally got her to call me in regard to my STD panel, she herself didn't call, she had her receptionist call me. I had a question in regard to something that I saw on the test results that were slightly outside of the normal range and her receptionist was incapable of answering those questions. Now I have to go through another round of back and forth with her.

This is quite honestly the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. After the back and forth in regard to my pap results, I immediately found a new provider who after one appointment has far exceeded my experience that I've had with Dr. Ram.
