Office was very clean and front office staff very friendly. Amanda was amazing and was aware of my mothers dementia from the moment she escorted us to the exam room. Dr. Joe was exceptional as well. He talked to my mom and made sure she was comfortable with him and the procedure that was taking place. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend.

One of the worst office staff experiences I have ever had.

I live quite a distance away from this practice but was very hopeful it would serve my needs and be worth the drive. I unfortunately showed up to my initial visit approximately 10 minutes or so late. I was very apologetic when I realized how late I was but the person sitting at the front desk just stared at me deadpan and said, "but your appointment was at 'such and such time'." I again apologized and took complete ownership of the error but in a very monotone voice said she would have to see if they would still be willing to see me. Again, we're talking maybe 10 minutes here, not an hour and it was my first visit. She came back to me to say they would ALLOW to me to be seen but I would have to wait until he saw all other patients that had shown up before me (meanwhile the waiting area was completely empty). I told her I absolutely understood and so she shoved, yes shoved, the papers that needed to be filled out, at me and said I could sit down and fill those out. Meanwhile, as I sat there trying to do so, her and the rest of the front office staff, proceeded to bash me openly. One person saying, what time was her appointment, and she showed up just now for it? Another, she showed up late? Really? I promptly told them if it was such a problem, I would happily pay whatever fee for the "missed appointment" and I could just never come back. Again, dead pan is all I get.

The nurse that was working came to get me for the actual appointment, could clearly see I was upset, and apologized for the rudeness of the office staff. She stated they could be that way and were used to some of their other clients abusing office appointment times. Not that it was an excuse. She was very kind and was able to deescalate the way I was feeling I had been treated. The doctor as well seemed very competent and very accommodating.

Upon leaving, some of the office staff that were previously acting catty, changed their attitude and were nicer.

Now here we are as a follow up...

1. The prescription that was supposed to be called in for me, I had to remind them to do so.

2. I had to cancel/reschedule my follow up due to a work conflict which I did so through their portal (which by the way they tout as an easy way to manage your care and communication with the staff). 10 days later, I have heard from NO ONE.

Bottom line is, they simply do not care about their patients enough for them to earn my trust or my money.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Delaware Total Foot and Ankle Center today. First of all, I was able to get an appointment very quickly. I did take the time to fill out the paperwork for a first time patient ahead of the appointment and the staff was very grateful that no time was wasted there. Amanda was very courteous and explained everything very clearly and Dr. Kane was excellent. I only had a minor issue, but I was treated well, everything was explained clearly and I left with the feeling I found a doctor and supporting staff for my future foot care. Thank you, everyone.

Possibly the best medical office experience I have ever had! From my initial phone call with Erin, who fit me in on short notice, to the pleasant front office staff, to the medical staff, and the doctor, my visit was nothing short of outstanding. Amanda was not only proficient, but delightful in assisting the doctor. Dr. Kane was thorough, reassuring and very professional. The office space is bright, clean, and easily accessible on the first floor. This was my first visit to the office as a new patient. The staff is incredibly friendly, the office vibe is welcoming and the office is very nice and high tech. They have x-rays on site which make everything quick and easy to identify any issues and get a quick treatment plan. The doctors are VERY knowledgeable and spend all the time with you that you need. There wasn't a detail missed and when I left I felt very comfortable that my issues were addressed and on the right track to get resolved. I would HIGHLY recommend the practice.

Very positive experience with Delaware Total Foot. Front desk staff was friendly, competent, and efficient. Medical staff was friendly, thorough, and showed concern for my issue. Dr. Joe was also friendly and ensured that I understood what my issue was and how to deal with it. Overall just excellent!
