Both of my kids have been treated by Dr Dixon and he has done an amazing job for both of them throughout the process starting with early visits to help us know when the kids should get braces put on. One of my children had an accident and knocked out a tooth and Dr Dixon worked very closely with our dentist and the oral surgeon to arrange the best care and determine how to adjust orthodontia to handle fewer teeth. I was so pleased with their care that I am using Dr Dixon to re-straighten my teeth as they have started to get a bit crooked and crowded as I've aged. Dr Dixon knows me and my kids by name and asks after them when I visit without them. The office staff has always been very flexible in scheduling appointments and caring for one of our kids who visits more than one office.

I am not at a typical age where you would seek out orthodontic care but as I got older, my teeth shifted resulting in me not feeling comfortable smiling anymore because of the way my teeth looked. I became very self conscious of my smile, especially when I would see pictures of myself. The first thing I tend to notice about people when I meet them is their teeth making me even more self conscious about mine. I had been putting off going to see an orthodontist not only because I am older than most requiring braces/invisalign but also I didn't feel like my teeth were "bad" enough to warrant 2 years of braces/invisalign and of course the cost. I went to one orthodontist who said I absolutely needed 2 years worth of care and quoted me a price which left me feeling very discouraged. I then came across Dixon Orthodontist and thought , "let's try this again " since they have free consultation. I met with Dr. Dixon in their Simsbury office and he point blank asked me what is it that I was looking to achieve with my teeth , he also did a scan of my teeth in 3d and explained what was happening in my mouth and it all made sense to me and I knew right then that I was in the right place, I felt hopeful! He told me about "Spark" which is similar to Invisalign and that I would not need to be in them for 2 years based on what I was looking to achieve and his pricing was one that I could not pass up. I started in June of 2023 and it is now Jan of 2024 and I am just about done with my treatment. The Spark brand worked wonderfully and I am so happy with the way my teeth look and am smiling big now. I am not saying that you will achieve what you want in the same time frame as I did but to consider there may be options, which was a relief for me. The point of my review is let people know to not be afraid to go in and talk to them to see what your options are if you do not fit the "typical" model of orthodontic care like I did. I cannot be happier with my decision. Thank you Dixon Orthodontic for giving me back my smile!!

This office is amazing. Extremely courteous staff at the receptionist desk who are very helpful and knowledgeable on the treatment plans. Dr Dixon is warm, gentle and kind. We feel extremely well-taken care of and that we are on the right path.

The nurses/ortho staff are equally friendly and courteous and my daughter has had an amazing experience so far! We are so glad we have selected in this office for the long journey through braces. We are looking forward to the same experience with our next child.

I was referred to Simsbury Orthodontics after my 14yr old was told he would most likely need braces. I was not familiar with how the whole process worked other than googling other people's experiences. Dr. Dixon was very helpful and friendly. He did an initial exam and my son was very comfortable too. His office is located in a really cool house that has been remodeled into a state of the art Dental Salon. When you walk in, there's a warm reception staff that greet all the fidgety tween, teens and adults with a smile and prompt attention. Simsbury Orthodontics staff operates like a very well oiled machine. The reception area seating can fill up quite fast to the point that every seat is filled, but before you know it, someone is being called in for their appointment while someone is leaving with a parent. Like clockwork, they schedule everything perfectly so that it's never congested. All the technicians are very courteous not only to the patients, but they genuinely like each other too. I cannot think of the last time I visited any business where I didn't mind going back and interacting with the personnel. I was reading an old Hartford magazine that features The Best Dentist in Connecticut during the summer and guess who was voted best Orthodontist? You got it! Dr. Dixon! I feel like my son hit the jackpot. Simsbury Orthodontics is a great schematic of what any business should strive to be and in my humble opinion, Simsbury Orthodontics is one of a kind.
