Dr Gul and his amazing staff treated me like a person, listened to what I was saying, and then the Doctor took his time to diagnosis my issues based on the full picture. I'm so happy I got to see him. He seems to really enjoy helping people and is a shining example of the kind of treatment all doctors should strive to provide.

Had my first visit today with Dr. Gul's office. I was greeted warmly upon entering. Didn't wait too long to be seen. Took me longer to fill out my paperwork than I did waiting. The office isn't crowded & is minimal decor so it feels so clean & organized!
I wanted to establish care with a new primary doctor & have heard great things about him. It was way better than I expected & definitely better than ANY experience I've had with a PCP since I saw Dr. Robert Ahrens in Watkinsville many years ago.
Dr. Gul sat down & we talked like "normal folks". The first thing he said was "I am not going to use all the fancy medical talk. I want you to understand everything we discuss & be comfortable when you leave."
I didn't feel rushed at all & that was the major thing I emphasized to him on why I've not liked any other PCPs I've had. He indicated that was why he opened his own practice. He doesn't believe a physician can give total care to a patient within a 7 minute allotment of time. It was music to my ears!
I'm looking forward to a long relationship with him & this practice. The nurses were well spoken, kind & actually made conversation with me too.
It just felt like how a small town doctor's office should feel. I highly recommend him for your care.

Changed Drs last year. I was tired of driving to Athens for over 20 yrs. Dr. Gul is friendly and spends time listening to your concerns. He will be honest and try treatment best for you. If it's not working he will listen and make changes. Love the staff too.

Worst experiences EVER!!! Every single time I’ve been to this office (which hasn’t been but 3 times) I’ve gotten ZERO bedside manner…the wait time is unbelievable considering I’ve ALWAYS been the ONLY patient there when I arrive. The doctor does NOT listen to you…just not attentive AT ALL…the nurses can stick you with a needle to draw blood to save their lives….AND of ALL things THEY just kicked me out of their office as a patient!!!!! The staff evidently lied and said I have been cursing them and not being compliant, which is completely untrue. I’ve done every single thing they’ve asked me to do and I’ve been very courteous every time I’ve been there…. Because frankly I’m there for their help not to be kicked out of the office, so why would I not be compliant? This is the treatment that you will receive if you decide to take him on as your PCP!!! It’s NOT RIGHT AT ALL that they can “pick and choose” their patients and who THEY want to see like that…just VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Worst doctors office I’ve EVER dealt with!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Ok the reason I am giving one star is so that it would let me write a review, but at first when my mother n law seen Dr.Gul we really liked him because he seemed like he really cared at the patient,I'm not saying he doesn't but after the first visit he was supposed to schedule some important appointments and then would give us a call but 4 months later we have yet to hear anything and that is also with us going back in for another appointment and telling him the appointments haven't been made and he said he would get right on it and still nothing..we walked in to see if we could be seen and the lady up front said they couldn't see her because they was full when there was NO ONE in the waiting area at all. The lady at the front desk is rude and hateful....they say they will call you but you never hear back from anyone in the office

Best primary care physician we've ever had. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I've never felt rushed, and he truly listens to your concerns. He's more like visiting an old friend than the doctor, lol.
