I went to Halifax twice to see Dr Smith. I found her very polite and her staff amazing kind and caring. Dr Smith explained everything so that I could understand what was going to be happening when I had surgery. My experience with Dr Smith and her staff was very good. I found each and every one of them very informative and polite. They all seemed to care about my well being. I would recommend this wonderful young lady and her staff. To any young lady. That needs a very professional caring doctor.

This practice does not respond in a timely matter with urgent results from blood tests. After waiting two weeks after results came in I received a portal email saying “dear patient”, stated I had a low level X, no additional info on X or what to do, and telling me to reach out to my OBGYN. There is no empathy on part of the staff as I called multiple times sharing how much I was struggling. Do not waste your time with this practice. It causes more pain than good. Plus, the staff is usually pretty snotty when we come in. Hopefully it’s not because I’m gay but there’s some reason why I’m treated poorly.

I was patient for over 9 years. I thought Dr. Anita Smith was a caring and compassionate doctor, but that is not the case at all. She gives you a little side talk but could careless about your well being. I complained about the treatment I received from her unprofessional staff and several days later I received notice that she was removing me as a patient. Mind you I had just been in the hospital prior to having my appointment. This lady doesn't care about loyal patients and is not concern about their care. This was a true blessing to be released from this practice. No one should go to a doctor who has no care or compassionate for patients!!!

Wonderful Doctor! I was patient for Dr. Smith about 7 years ago. I lost my job when I was pregnant and I moved so I wasn't a patient for many years. During the time frame that I lost my job without insurance she was still very helpful and caring. This is Dr. who takes her time to actually listen to you and your concerns. I moved back 2 years ago and called as soon as I could to scheduled an appt. so that I could be her patient again. If you are a new patient , yes there is a long wait time, however, she is well worth it.

Dr. Smith has cared for my family and myself included, over two decades. She has been the best doctor we could ever hope for. Always an excellent experience overall, from her amazingly attentive, knowledgeable and well trained staff to her impeccable bedside manner.

I esteem her as a very knowledgeable physician with a genuine care and concern for my family. She has all the qualities (knowledge/wisdom, bedside manner, communication skills, caring/concern, commitment, etc) that are important to me and & most people in a doctor.

She listens attentively and gives the highest quality of care both physically and mentally.

This doctor will find any reason to cancel you. She DO NOT want you in her office but she cannot say it for fear of lawsuits…..DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COST.

I have been going to this Dr for as long as she has owned it & to Vinings Medical Center for over 20 years. Dr. Smith is a great Dr! She takes her time with you and is not trying to hurry out to the next patient. She cares about each person and asks about me and my family. I appreciate her & the extra care she takes with each visit. She truly cares about everyone that walks in her door to see her.

Love Dr. Smith and everyone at the office! She spends a lot of time with you. She sees you as a person, not just ticky boxes of age, gender, etc. She tries to help find solutions to issues without drugs. I had high cholesterol and high-normal blood pressure. Since she knew I was working on improving eating/exercise/weight, she didn't just push drugs. I am now good and normal for both! When I have needed to see specialists, she sends you to whoever she feels is best, regardless of what health system they are with. If you want someone to work with you as a partner for your health she is great. If you want someone to just give you drugs (easy way out), see someone else. If you have an issue, she will fit you in right away, too. She never overbooks, you never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen.
