I am currently 6 months post-op from lipedema surgeries in the lower and upper leg, upper arm, and hip areas. I spent a considerable amount of time researching physicians to consider for these procedures. Dr. Amron rose to the top of my list almost immediately not only for the results he has shown, but also for his commitment to this disease and the patients who suffer from it. He truly stands out from the rest for his dedication and relentless pursuit to help lipedema patients. All of my interactions with the staff from the initial surgical consultations and scheduling, the MLD therapies, the follow-up calls have been phenomenal. You truly feel as though they have your best interest at heart and care for you as an individual. Meeting Dr. Amron in person for the first time for my pre-op appointment prior to my first surgery instantly put me at ease. He has an incredible bedside manner that is a rarity among physicians in his category. It is unusual to find someone who is so very skilled as a surgeon that also has such empathy and compassion for patients. He very much put me at ease through all the surgeries. His OR staff is amazing. They take amazing care of you before, during and after. They all helped me feel at ease going into each procedure knowing I was in very caring and capable hands. My results have been phenomenal. My pain is gone, literally gone!!! I never thought I could feel this good in my own body again. Once I was cleared for exercise, I had to stop my first workout after about a minute because I was crying so hard. They were tears of pure joy and elation. I didn't know my body could feel so light and pain-free while moving. Lipedema is a slow and insidious disease. You don't realize how badly things have become until you are able to remove the diseased tissue. One of my main motivations for surgery was my favorite sport and hobby - downhill skiing. In the previous few years, it had become unbearable. I had custom boots made, and nothing could help the pain. I would end up in tears on the mountain, but still ski through it because I love it so much. This winter, I was able to ski PAIN FREE. I was skiing like I did 30 years ago. It was truly amazing. I am still healing, and I am hopeful for even more improvement aesthetically, but I can shop for clothes and not hide from myself in the mirrors anymore. When I hear Dr. Amron's voice on interviews, I start to tear up as I am so grateful I was able to do these surgeries with him. He is a true pioneer and advocate for lipedema. I feel blessed to have found him and his practice and to have been under all of their care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Amron, Michelle, Evelyn, Pearl, Naomi, and all of the OR staff! I am just one of the many people you have helped to truly change my life for the better.

Dr Amron was professional and informative. He gave honest advice about what services were necessary and what would not have the greatest effect on my treatment areas. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel comfortable and supported in my recovery. My MLD with Pearl and Rebecca was thorough and greatly improved my mindset after surgery as well as my body's recovery.

Dr. Amron and his team at the Advanced Lipedema Treatment Center provide cutting edge care in a compassionate environment. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism of hospital team. Dr. Amron practices with empathy and compassion. He understands Lipedema and how to treat it. His team is wonderful, including Michelle, Courtney, Eleanor, Eleanor and Jackie.
When the surgical team is finished you begin MLD treatments with Pearl, whose touch is magical. She heals the body and the spirit!

The entire process was seamless. From consultation to post-op, everyone answered all my questions and showed great care. Dr. Amron is thorough, kind, and the consummate expert in lipedema. The nurses, coordinators, and anesthesiologist made me feel totally confident and prepared for surgery. Surgery was way easier than I expected. Post-op MLD visits with Pearl were so beneficial to my recovery. She and Dr. Amron are true artists.

My experience here with with the OR and with Dr. Amron was the best experience that I’ve had in my journey with Lipedema. My surgery went great my experience with Pearl Domingo, the MLD has been the best that I’ve had. It’s been two sessions with her. I wish we could have more time with her at least for sessions, I look forward and seeing her again with my neck surgery, which will be September 4 in about a month. My experiences with Dr. Amron and his staff have been wonderful. Not knowing what the whole process would be like, they were able to put my mind at ease. I was well taken care of before, during, and after surgery. My experience was better than expected. They were able to answer all my questions and clarify anything I wasn’t sure about. As for Pearl, she is such a kind and wonderful person. She was very patient with me. Her hands are magic. I will be back for my other two procedures for upper legs and arms.
