I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Gowdie's office! Everything exceeded my expectations. I've been struggling with a dull pain/soreness in my right heel for several months, hoping it would eventually fade away, and a friend recommended that I see a podiatrist for general advice . I was encouraged by all the positive reviews I found online for Dr. Gowdie, so I scheduled an appointment. The office was well run, with a very friendly receptionist, and Dr. Gowdie was amazing. He was a patient and careful listener, and he took the time to explain my problem in detail, using illustrations on his iPad to help me visualize what was happening. He identified the problem as a bone bruise, and he had several specific recommendations for how to take better care of my feet to help it heal faster. I felt that I was in very good hands -- he explained things clearly and concisely and soon put my mind at ease. My mom came with me to the appointment (she worked in the medical field for a long time, and she tries to watch out for me whenever I visit a doctor), and she was so impressed with Dr. Gowdie that she went to schedule an appointment for herself on our way out. Dr. Gowdie is extremely friendly, calm, professional, and easy to talk with. I highly recommend him! I have several friends with foot problems, and I plan to tell them about him as soon as possible. Met Dr. Gowdie last week with my husband for an initial visit for my husband. He was extremely courteous and had excellent bedside manner, which is rare in this day and age. He listened attentively and was very informative about the cause of My husband’s condition.
I have retired from the medical profession and can appreciate his demeanor. If you get an opportunity to see him, I guarantee you will be impressed!

I would recommend Dr. Gowdle if you are in need of a podiatrist. His office is friendly and he is great! I was treated by another podiatrist and was not properly diagnosed. Dr. Gowdle ordered an MRI and found that I had two tears in my tendons. He gave me exercises, recommended an an anti-inflammatory cream to help with the long healing process. He did not try to upsell me on any of the products readily available in his office (shoes & high grade vitamins, shoes and vitamin pamphlets are readily seen). He is now my "go-to" for problems with my feet.

Please give him a try you won’t regret it!! I was in terrible shape with my feet and the daily grind was making them worse but in the last 3 months he has made them so much better! I had went other places with no result if only I had come to him sooner!
