Ended up having a knee replacement in 2018 what I thought was gonna be typical for this kind of surgery. The pain was through the roof. I had physical torture with every therapist. I went and saw they ended up doing manipulation under anesthesia to break up scar tissue that didn’t make it any better Here. I am five years later and it’s worse than ever. I do not recommend this office or this doctor at all go to Emory they have it right they’ll take

Dr Jeff Traub did knee replacement surgery on my right knee. Prior to going to Dr Traub I had been to 5 orthopedic doctors that refused to do knee replacement surgery. I have suffered for 10 plus years with bone on bone knees. My quality of life had basically been reduced to nothing. Dr Traub took one look at me and my xrays and could see how much pain I was in. After the surgery he told my husband there was nothing left of my old knee. It had total deteriorated. I have my life back. My knee is pain free. I can walk up the stairs, I can stand and cook dinner, I can go for a walk with my dog. Dr Traub saw me as a person who was in pain and needed help where all other doctors just saw that I was a little larger person than what they wanted to do surgery on. I am scheduled to do the other knee in a couple of months. I cant wait to be able to go hiking again. Thank you Dr Traub for giving me my life back.

I am a new patient of Dr. Traub’s and, I'm a very observant person. I have a history in the medical field, as well as in-office experience. I especially have a pet peeve about customer service, how a doctor's front and back office staff interacts with patients, each other, and, the doctors.
It has been a very long time since I have been impressed with a doctor and how well the office is run. Dr. Traub and his clinical staff work efficiently together, making sure that he has everything he needs, like X-rays and chart notes of each patient be to see the patient. There were a few things that stuck out to me the most, after examing me and going over my case with me, Dr. Traub recorded his dictation notes of my case before leaving the treatment room. His back office staff play a big role in how well he is able to flow from patient to patient effectively. The surgery to repair my broken right-hand wrist injury was handled as a priority due to the time frame between the day of the injury and the day I was seen in his office, Dr. Traub performed my surgery within the same week as my initial office visit. It has been two weeks since my surgery and, I experienced little pain and very little swelling. I recommend Dr. Traub to anyone who needs an Orthopedic specialist, I subconsciously saw this humbling confidence in Dr. Traub.

Dr. Jeff Traub is the BEST! He replaced my right knee in December 2021. He replaced my left knee June 28, 2022. Both my knees are identical and working great and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I HIGHLY recommend him.

I am a senior and had difficult tib/fib break after falling down 13 steps. Also had to have a toe removed at same time as that surgery due to a chronic bone infection. Dr Traub did an excellent job on the surgeries and taking care of me afterwards. He is very personable, too. I highly recommend him!
UPDATE: I still feel the same way about Dr Traub...he's the best. But watch your bills. His billing staff made several big errors and duplicate billed me on several occasions.
Update: 1.5 years after surgery absolutely No Pain in my ankle at all. Dr. Traub is the best!

Dr. Traub came highly recommended for my torn patella tendon in 2006. I had a successful surgery with no complications. He has given me injections in my other arthritic knee. I received 2 separate injections and it prevented me from having surgery. In 2016 we discovered the ball of my hip joint was dying. Dr Traub preformed a core decompression on the hip to try and save the joint, and prevent a total hip replacement. Unfortunately I was a candidate that this procedure did not work on. I had a THR on Sept 13th 2021. Once again a successful surgery with no complications. I ran on a treadmill today, the 1st time in years! Dr. Traub Rocks!! A Great Doctor, with bedside manners.. A even better man.

Went here to for my knee and everything seem fine but after a quick Xray the Dr gave me a quick explanation, then brush me off. Turn out I need a knee brace that they didn't have my size. poor inventory management. They made told me to come back next week to get my brace in the proper size. I lucky call to see if they brace the brace before I go up there and they told me they don't, then rudely told me to called the brace manufacturer to see if I had be bill for this brace that I do not have.
