Dr. Townsend is the best neurologist. He's very attentive, and gives a thorough exam. I give him and his staff a 10 star. I'm 77 years old and worked in the medical field for 30 years so I know a good doctor when I see one. Don't belive the negative reviews.

Dr Townsend is amazing and knowledgeable but his front desk staff is possibly the worst. I repeat WORST front desk staff I have EVER encountered. I’m not sure how many work up front but I know I always deal with this one woman. She is quite possibly the most belittling, rude, sassy, and inconsiderate people I have met. I am 22 years old and have had my fair share and range of doctors visits. I have narcolepsy with cataplexy which causes me to get into car accidents. So I have been to probably around 20 different doctors in the area on my life so far and I would choose any of them over dealing with this woman. Dr Townsend is amazing but this lady will be the reason he looses me as a patient! I can’t even begin to list the amount of times this woman has been disrespectful and rude. There’s simply not enough time in the day to read all of the bad encounters I have had with this woman. I am always, ALWAYS so extremely sweet to her to try and start the conversation off on the right foot but the way she interrupts, talks over, and attempts to invalidate everything I am ASKING her, Instead of pleasantly answering a question I am obviously confused about, is astonishing. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE time EVERY time I call.

Dr. Townsend is an excellent doctor. He is NOT one of those doctors that schedule three appts at the same time so the patient has to wait on him. He has respect for his patients' personal lives and makes sure he sees you at the exact time of your appt. I never have to wait. I think he schedules each patient enough time to actually visit with them instead of rushing them out the door for his next appt. He is the only doctor I've met who runs his practice with such courtesy.
More than that though he helps his patients and listens to them. He is nice and easy to speak to. His office sets you at ease. He cares about his patients' health and follows through to make sure all is well. Also he has nice people working with him. Ms. Trish has been at the front desk for years helping assist Dr. Townsend's patients. She is helpful plus very friendly in person and over the phone. Just like the doctor she goes above and beyond to make sure she helps every patient be safe and healthy.
Dr. Townsend is the best choice.
