Called to make an appointment. Nothing available until 2 1/2 weeks out. The issue going on with my minor is concerning. They said the best they could do for me is a phone consult 5 DAYS FROM TODAY. And receptionist still had the audacity to tell me "if yore luck, hopefully dr will give u
You a call by then" they are always so rude when I call ? Unfortunately am stuck with the only option of taking my minor to an urgent care/emergency room because this dr is our assigned Dr. We did chose him because back when Dr Barbara senior was at practice along with his son,everything was wonderful. Even the staff/nurses were nice and compassionate. But now come to experience the worst. I don't know what went wrong. This is not the only bad experience I've had. Some of the nurses are SUPER impatient and HAVE ZERO compassion. One LITTERALY stabbed my baby when we came in with vaccines. oh my God and the way she restrained him was horrible. I understand these procedures but thie way she handled it was WAYYY unnecessary and incompassionate towards a baby.
So sad to see this practice with so many bad reviews. ?

Karen, Stephanie and John were very kind and patient and helpful when I contracted pink eye and needed to get a prescription immediately to return back to work. I called and had my medication the same day! Looking forward to their help in the future!

My family of four were in need of a new doctor since moving to Hollister. After reading the great reviews on Yelp about this practice I decided to give them a call when my boys needed a physical to go to summer camp. I found the office staff and doctor (Dr Barbara senior) be be very professional and kind. The facility was clean and not dated. It was a very refreshing experience for us. We hope to have found our new family doctor with Dr Barbers practice ?

My husband has been sick with a cough for 3 weeks. I called Dr Barbara on Wednesday December 7. He called back and was very attritive. Prescribed antibiotics for him. The cough has been relentless and he has not been able to rest, he gasps for air and I am out of ideas how to relieve the cough. I called yesterday Thursday December 8. The receptionist said she would have Dr Barbara call me. I waited all day, no call. I called the office this morning and said I was not called yesterday and that I wanted to talk to a nurse and that I would not hang up until someone came to take my call. The receptionist disconnected my call, I called immediately and no answer, so I left a message. I understand that their is a high number of people sick. But I feel someone should have given me a call yesterday and as for the receptionist, she should not be handling calls for the doctor. Where is the compassion for a senior woman dealing with her husbands inability to take a breath while coughing. I needed help and I am very upset, so I'm sorry Dr Barbara, but I will only give you one star because you called me back on Wednesday, but my guess is that you were not given my message yesterday, so your receptionist should be better trained or replace her with someone else!

Very welcoming staff. I love the upgrade to the office. Sometimes the wait can stretch but it”s well worth the wait. I love the medical attention I receive from the PA. Very informative and really listens to my concerns. I feel comfortable leaving knowing I’m in good hands.

I’ve come here on and off over the years and I recently had blood work done and I had to call back to see if they got them & the woman who answered the phone said they got them Friday and it was now Monday at 1pm at my time of calling and if I didn’t call they surely wouldn’t have. The following day at 4pm and I had a scheduled phone app to get my results and I called to be on top of it and they receptionist just says I’ll have to wait longer til they call me…… what’s going on that I have to wait longer for my results…… high blood pressure and anxiety are great to keep me company while I continue to wait….. I as a patient should feel like I’m valued and my concerns are valid and not like I have to haggle to get my results back. A little Urgency would be nice. Still waiting to be called and it’s now 30 mins past my app time. Very frustrating

I finally received my call a whole hour after my app time only to find that the whole of my blood work wasn’t ordered….. so I now am having to go back to redraw blood to get my full blood work….. this has not been a great experience….. at all
