The receptionist was very accommodating with giving instructions to the office...My GPS was NOT functioning properly. She was every polite and professional upon my arrival. Dr. Joey was professional and listened to me, including making plans for future treatment. I highly recommend this office/staff.

I had a good visit at Ankle & Foot Center/Buckhead. The staff were very efficient at getting me checked in (although the online check-in I had done didn't appear to have come over; the form I was given was quickly filled out). At my appointment time, a very pleasant woman came to x-ray and then get me settled for the doctor visit. The wait was very short. A whole team came in to look at my foot and x-rays. They were very caring, provided me with lots of information and answered questions. When they were finished, Stacy helped me with the aircast boot. Although i would have liked an information sheet of what was discussed, I got a lot of information from the patient portal. Overall I was very pleased with the visit and care received.

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel and the staff. I have nothing but positive to say about that experience. However, the practice itself was understaffed, and there was a very long line just to check in. The office itself was kind of hard to find - in the back corner of an office building without much in the way of directions. Also, the practice does not validate parking - while it may be a small thing it is kind of insulting to have to pay extra for that after dropping several hundred dollars on an office visit fee. I was really impressed with the medical staff here, but I wish the business were run in a way that made customers feel prioritized.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with any kind of medical service in my life . My experience with this company was so mentally and emotionally draining it’s ridiculous. I was so stressed and overwhelmed. I had ankle surgery which I received on JUNE 4, 2024. My Surgeon was Dr. Weinstein . He was okay. Him and his team did great with my surgery . No issues with him he is nice but he definitely acts and talks like he is in a rush to get on with another task & like he had no Time for me. Anyways, the staff at the Ankle & foot Centers of Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia & the office in Eagles Landing -Stockbridge, Georgia are nice up front and face to face but very unorganized, inconsiderate, and dismissive. One female staff member (can’t remember her name) at the Buckhead office in Atlanta,Georgia was handling my payment for my out of pocket payment portion for my ankle surgery . I paid $100. That was the remaining cost after what my insurance didn’t cover for my ankle surgery . About a month or two later I speak to someone from the billing department and she says when i paid the $100 for my surgery, some of it didn’t go towards my surgery it went towards another expense from months ago i had . Although, the staff member processed the entire payment right in front of me at her desk and said (OUT OF HER MOUTH) that my expense for the surgery was paid and covered . The lady from the billing department said that , that is a reoccurring thing that staff members do . They take your money and act to be processing your payment for one thing but it’s for something else on your account without letting you know.
Another issue I had was when one time I went to the Eagles landing location a little while prior to my surgery for a pre-op appointment to discuss the surgery procedure and how everything would go. I showed up and waited about 10 to 15 minutes in the lobby just for them to tell me that they were not ready to see me yet and asked if I could reschedule. I asked the staff member why didn’t they let me know beforehand before I came up here. They had even sent me a reminder email and called me to confirm my appointment for that day the day before . They Called me and everything just for me to come there and them not be ready to see me and asked if I could reschedule at that location . I told them no and expressed how inconsiderate and inconvenient that was for me . I decided to reschedule my appointment at the Buckhead location because I did not want to go back there after that . Another issue I’ve had with this company was them randomly canceling my surgery appointment without even giving me the chance to confirm (literally canceled it in 5 mins) i had such a hard time getting the appointment ( took 2-3 months) and when they cancelled it was so angry and annoyed like why !!!! It takes so much just to get an appointment. They always say they will leave a message and have someone call back but NEVER do . They surely do not care. I literally had to request my refund for my surgery just for them to get back with me because they just kept wasting my time and throwing me in a constant loop in circles . This whole process was mentally & emotionally draining . I waited until after my surgery & post op appointment to post this review in case they tried to do some funny business while i still urgently needed their services. 0/10 RECOMMEND. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The fact that I chose this clinic even though it was not covered by my insurance says everything about it. Dr. Powell and his wonderful staff of Terrell, Pauline, and Priscilla took away all the stress and frustration I had been dealing with for three days due to my foot injury. And it started before I even met them. Unlike the other practices I called who obviously did not care about my time (and were covered by my insurance), Ankle & Foot staff actually talked to me, asked me questions and volunteered additional information. I continued to feel that care the moment I walked into their practice. They made the visit effortless. Professional, caring, and very knowledgeable, they will always be my first if not only choice should I find myself in this situation again. And, if they should decide on a new profession, they should teach other practices how to treat their patients.

Disappointed and Frustrated: Not ADA Accessible and Poor Service

I recently visited the Ankle & Foot Centers of America - Buckhead location, and I am deeply disappointed with my experience. The first issue is the terrible location—parking is a nightmare. As someone who needs assistance, I found it extremely difficult to navigate.

When I arrived at Suite 225, I was shocked to find that the entry is not handicap accessible. To make matters worse, the front staff seemed indifferent to my struggles. Despite seeing me clearly needing help, not one of them bothered to assist me with opening the door. Their lack of professionalism was evident from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were unhelpful, and their attitudes were downright dismissive.

It’s disheartening to see such a lack of consideration and basic customer service, especially in a healthcare setting where empathy should be paramount. If you have mobility challenges (whether permanent or temporary), I strongly advise against visiting this location. The crazy part is I haven’t even seen the provider yet smh. I hope they address these issues immediately, but until then, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone in need of accessible and respectful care.

After seeing Dr. Ketan Patel the service is phenomenal! Had it not been for the first impression they would have gotten 5 ⭐️

FRAUDULENT & UNPROFESSIONAL

Contacting Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) to file complaint for “Billing for services not provided” which is regulated under the GCMB.

I would NOT recommend Ankle & Foot Centers of America. I was referred to Dr Weinstein by my regular doctor at Piedmont and visited Dr Weinstein on Feb 25, 2021. During that visit I was fitted for custom inserts which I also paid for that day. Months passed and the inserts were not delivered nor was I contacted. I finally called and was given the run around. One nurse stated they must have misplaced them and she would call me back. Never received a call back. I have subsequently sent messages via email and MyChart (over past 3 years) as well with no response.
Unprofessional and honestly fraudulent since I still have not received or have been reimbursed for paid services.
